Wonderful, quaint inn. The guest lounge had a kitchen with coffee, pastries, bread, yogurt, hardboiled eggs, coffee, tea, juice, soda, cookies, cereal, and more. There's a large library and comfortable seating.
The grounds are lovely, with seating, even a covered area, and adorned with a beautiful koi pond that once belonged to Andy Griffith, who lived on the island.
Most of all, Pam, the manager, was a total delight. Attentive, gregarious, funny, and sensitive to all our needs, the experience would not have been the same without her.
The Inn is a destination. We'll be back.
