Verjaag de relaxte oceaan in de Pacific Northwest door te genieten van onze authentieke Finse Finia sauna voor drie personen en onze hot tub voor vijf personen. Je problemen zullen wegsmelten terwijl je kijkt naar de beukende branding op slechts 50 meter van het zand. Het Neahkahnie Beach House ligt op loopafstand van het charmante dorpje Manzanita en heeft een van de meest verbluffende uitzichten op de kust van Oregon. De unieke oriëntatie op de Stille Oceaan in het westen en de Neahkahnie-berg in het noorden bieden gemakkelijke toegang tot strandactiviteiten en vrij uitzicht op glooiende oceaangolven, kliffen en watervallen vanuit de woonkamer en slaapkamers.

Het 1.800 vierkante meter grote huis met 3 slaapkamers en 3½ badkamer, gerenoveerd in 2017, heeft een open plattegrond met kathedraalplafonds. Gezellige Italiaanse lederen sofa's in de woonkamer zijn perfect om te genieten van het uitzicht op familie op het strand, de walvissen net voorbij de golven en de prachtige zonsondergangen. Alle speciale voorzieningen die u tijdens een ontspannen en verjongende vakantie wilt, zijn inbegrepen: een 50-inch flatscreen-tv van Samsung met Sonos PLAYBAR, een authentieke Finse Finse driepersoonssauna in de buitenlucht, een hot tub voor vijf personen Marquis, een gasbarbecue op een dek afgeschermd van de wind, een houtskoolbarbecue voor cookouts met zeezicht, een houtkachel - en zelfs een huisgitaar en ukelele voor het bluffen.

Twee kingsize slaapkamers hebben een gloednieuwe ensuite badkamer en de derde slaapkamer heeft twee eenpersoonsbedden. Bereikbaar via een pad buiten het huis, een bonuskamer met daglicht in de kelder met een half bad, spelletjes, strandspeelgoed, boogieplanken --- en meer om kinderen (en volwassenen) bezig te houden.

Of u nu wilt wandelen in Oswald West State Park, een koude duik wilt nemen, op de golven wilt surfen, naar de walvissen wilt kijken, marshmallows op het strand wilt roosteren, of in het bubbelbad wilt genieten terwijl u sterren telt, Neahkahnie Beach House is de ideale plek om te zijn. Het centrum van Manzanita ligt op slechts 120 km van Portland en biedt winkels, restaurants, cafés, een openbare bibliotheek en meer. In de buurt bevinden zich ook Nehalem Bay voor kajakken en vissen, Manzanita Golf Course en Oswald West State Park.

Let’s start with toilet paper. Our host cared enough to supply us with rich lush TP and not that “crappy” stuff often found in rentals. Worth it for the view alone!

This was such an amazing property! We visited for spring break and from the moment we checked-in to the moment we checked-out, it was perfect. The location can't be beat. The house was perfectly clean, cozy beds, everything you could need. As a mom, I especially appreciated how kid friendly the property is and the fact that there were ziplocs and foil available - a small thing that goes such a long way when you're traveling! Nothing short of a wonderful stay!

You can see that the view is amazing (pics don’t do it justice) and the location is great. Amenities like a hot tub and sauna are a bonus. What you can’t see are all the little things they have done to make your stay amazing. There wasn’t one item in the kitchen that we couldn’t find. They were even more than we didn’t even know could exist let alone in a rental! Little things like amazing towels, great comforters, it felt like friends had given us their home for the long weekend. And to top it off the house was spotless and the communication great. It was very difficult to leave thale spectacular view. We look forward to coming back again soon. Stunning Seaside Retreat

This house has the most gorgeous views of any place I've stayed and moreover, the hosts have created a thoroughly welcoming, comfortable and charming retreat. Stunning Manzanita Beach House

This beautifully appointed Beach House is perfection. The views are absolutely stunning with big picture windows, high-end furnishings rocking chairs to enjoy the view right across the street from the beach and Ocean. This home has everything that you need for a perfect getaway. The beds are comfortable. The rooms are large and the bathrooms are spa like inspired. The large soaking tub in the primary suite is pure luxury. The outdoor barbecue sauna and hot tub add to this beautiful retreat. The hosts are wonderful and communicate in a timely fashion. It is five stars and a 10 out of 10.

We have stayed here a number of years in a row. This house has a wonderful view, many extra special features and is spotlessly clean. Right across from the beach where beach walking , kite flying , belly board surfing are all easy and fun. Every cooking utensil and appliances necessary for meal prep are available and they all work !!! The owners are very attentive and it is so evident that they want visitors to have a great time. And every year we do so !

Everything you need and then some very thoughtful extras. The view was the best - ocean and the mountain. The wood stove was the only heat in the living room and was hard to figure out and then control but we got there. We all enjoyed the spa and hot tub. Hope to return!

One of the first aspects you see, is the unbelievable view, framed perfectly with the windows in the living room and kitchen. Then you notice the personal touch of welcome gifts. Yes, gifts, multiple- very thoughtful with local treasures- thank you! The cleanliness and condition of the house is 5 🌟 and above. Having two primary bedrooms with amazing bathrooms, plus another bedroom and central bathroom make a great layout for our rejuvenation and thanksgiving break. A quick 1 minute walk to the beach and you can stroll the beach and enjoy the sounds and sunsets. We enjoyed eating in the local restaurants, and visiting the shops in Manzanita, and quick trips to Cannon beach, Nehalem, Wheeler and Rockaway. Such a great central location for your vacation. We greatly appreciate John and Maria sharing their home with us, thank you! We would absolutely stay here again.

Another Great Week

This was another wonderful week in a truly special home with a beautiful view. The house was pristine and the owners add some special touches each year , Our only "problem " was there are so many things to do that we could not use everything --sauna, hot tub , game room , beach toys !! Beautiful weather and gorgeous views. Close to the beach across the street...what else could we ask for ?
