'Amazing house with amazing views! Were in town for an App State '

'The cabin was as described, was clean and well-equipped. Only negative, and it was not the fault of the property, was that there was a lot of work being done on the river which caused it to be quite silted while we were there. We made the best of it though and enjoyed the visit. '

'The stay was relaxing and tucked away up on the top of the mountain. Everything we needed to cook and we enjoyed the warm welcome with a bottle of wine & chocolate. The deck was my favorite part, plenty of room and comfortable patio furniture, our puppy loved the plush woods and the small trail to a picnic area. You definitely need a vehicle to climb ruff terrain, steep hills, and sharp turns. Highly recommend for a weekend getaway, thank you Matt and Chris!'

'We had a great visit. The cabin was exactly how it was described. The cabin was very clean. The dishwasher was broke when we went but we were told it was on order. This did not affect our stay or bother us to wash the little dishes we have. '

'The home and property were wonderful!Pros: Clean, all beds including pull out couch were comfortable, ac worked great, well stocked with cooking items, gas grill was very handy, and hot tub was nice in the evenings. The creek was amazing, the kids fish and swam from dawn to dusk and we grilled a few trout we caught! 'My family and I, along with our 2 dogs absolutely enjoyed our stay here. The cabin was well stocked, clean and cozy. We experienced it all: the hot tub, both hiking trails, the creek across the street, the fire pit and the front porch sitting. We even got to enjoy a little snow! It was the PERFECT get away & we will definitely come back to stay again!'

Pleasant MCM motel

"One night stay here after staying at their sister hotel in Raleigh. The property itself is fine but no atmosphere compared to Raleigh. Easy parking, clean and comfortable room. Not much to do within walking distance, except a burger takeaway. We tried to walk to a nearby microbrewery. It should've been a 5 minute walk, but we found it impossible to cross the 6-lane highway in front of the motel so gave up and went back to our room. Maybe, as Europeans, we're not used to the American way of driving everywhere, but to visit a brewery, walking would seem a safer option. Pleasant enough motel but not sure we'd return."
