'Beautiful rooms in the woods with many opportunities for walking and seeing birds. But regarding service and breakfast not what you would expect of this type of hotel. Breakfast is basic. Staff are friendly and doing their job. Missed a more personal or famial approach. Staff member told us to be at the entrance of the hotel at 5.50 in the morning to watch birds with him, but did not show up.'

'I don't want to over sell this place because the rooms were rustic ( no shower head but good hot water) The staff was great and friendly, the food was good, the views and hike on the property was fantastic. But it is a rustic place so it is not perfect. For the price it was good and I am glad we stayed here, just don't get your expectations too high for luxury rooms.'

'Margarita was the BEST!! She was so kind and welcoming. She sent over a bunch of different tour options and things to do when in Mindo. The breakfast was great, property beautiful, and the location close to town but outside of the hustle and bustle. Absolutely would recommend!'

'My husband and I loved the property. The beauty of this property was a perfect mix of natural and well manicured gardens. Marco (the manager) is an amazing help with all the joy and energy you could ask for. Our room was simple with a a floor to ceiling wall of sliding glass windows and amazing view for watching birds.
