"SOMBRERO HEAVEN" ~ Gloednieuw, Designer ingericht en perfect ingerichte 4-slaapkamer (1 koning, 3 Queens), 3-Bath Private verwarmd zwembad Villa met Neighborhood Ocean Front strand en tweede verhaal afgeschermd Balkon dat kijkt over privé zwembad en kanaal! Alles wat u nodig heeft voor de perfecte vakantie van sleutels ~ inclusief 2 fietsen, strandlakens, strandstoelen, parasol, strandspeelgoed, zwembadnoedels, bordspellen voor kinderen, een pack n play, kinderstoel!

"Sombrero Heaven" Villa is gelegen aan MM50 op het eiland Marathon. De villa is nieuw gebouwd (december 2016) en biedt een zwembad aan de gracht, een schaduwrijke patio, een privé verlichte steiger, een dokladder en touwen, een visschoonmaakstation, een overdekte parkeerplaats en ruimte voor uw aanhangwagen! Een strandboulevard aan de oceaan ligt op slechts een paar minuten rijden of 10 minuten lopen! Met zijn kust gevoel decor en al haar voorzieningen, de villa is het eiland wonen op zijn best!

~ Spring op uw boot vanuit uw eigen aanlegsteiger voor een dag vissen, snorkelen, duiken en varen ~ enkele minuten van open water en een paar zeemijlen vanaf het rif!
~ Kook je vangst in de volledig uitgeruste luxe keuken met roestvrijstalen apparaten en granieten werkbladen of op de gasgrill bij het zwembad! Visreinigingsstation op het dok!
~ Fish vanaf uw eigen steiger!
~ Ontspan en geniet van uw koffie in de ochtend en 's avonds cocktails op de tweede verdieping afgeschermd balkon als u zich vergapen aan het uitzicht op de zonsopgang in de ochtend en de zonsondergang gekleurde hemel in de avond!

De ruime en comfortabele woonkamer beschikt over een flatscreen-tv, een slaapbank en een eethoek! De slaapkamer heeft een flatscreen-tv, een eigen badkamer met dubbele wastafels en een kingsize bed. De andere 3 slaapkamers hebben allemaal een comfortabele ruime bedden van de Koningin! Er is een wasmachine en droger op de begane grond, in de keuken. We hebben ook een overdekte parkeerplaats en ruimte voor uw boottrailer! Voldoende extra parkeergelegenheid voor extra auto's!

Er zijn heel veel speciale, persoonlijke aanrakingen voor je in de loop ... Onze toiletartikelen zijn de overvloedige collectie van eco-wetenschappen met baobab-fruitolie met een verfrissende eucalyptusgeur en een bodylip van havermout en eucalyptus. We hebben ook strandstoelen en badlakens beschikbaar voor uw gebruik! Schoonmaakservice tijdens uw verblijf is beschikbaar voor een extra vergoeding. Every summer we vacation with our kids and grand kids. Usually we go to a fresh water lake, but we really enjoyed our stay in Marathon. We fished, boated, played cards, when to the Lagoon, swam. The house had lots of everything! Thanks

Wonderful house for family of 6!

We absolutely loved our stay at Sombrero Heaven! The house is so clean and has plenty of room for 6. We loved the private pool and downstairs outdoor area. The property manager responded to texts right away, but we only had to reach out once. They came midweek to clean the pool and check chemical levels. We have already discussed booking this place for future family vacations! Loved it so much. Note - We weren’t prepared for the summer bugs in FL! We got eaten up the first night. However, we bought some supplies and were ready by night 2 and had a great time. I highly recommend choosing this rental for your vacation!

Fantastic family set-up

Layout and location worked very well for our family. Communication with the property manager was great. The availability of a high-chair and play and pack eased our travels with a little one. We were also able to rent additional items from Babyquip just two miles away.

Lovely Getaway

My husband and I stayed here for a little over a week in early May 2025. The location is great - very close to Sombrero Beach and amenities (side note: I recommend Publix over Winn Dixie). We also liked being in Marathon; there are tons of restaurants to pick from and it is easy to visit other Keys as well. This property was cute, very clean, and well equipped. Only downsides: (1) the property manager convinced me to pay to heat the pool before we got there and there was no need. We asked to have it turned off a couple of days in and even then the pool was more like a hot tub. Maybe earlier in the year it would have made more sense. (2) I received so many separate emails about this booking that it wasn’t until we were driving in that I realized I hadn’t received the code to access the house. I requested and received the code promptly, but it seemed like the priority was on limiting the owner’s liability and expense (pool heating) rather than the experience of the guest. (3) My husband and I like to have the TV on for background noise, so we noticed right away that the cable packages aren’t uniform between TVs and some are very limited, so there were channels we could watch in the living room that we couldn’t watch in the bedroom. I also never figured out how to stream in the bedroom and the living room TV has a blue streak (the panel is going out). Not a big deal - who goes on vacation to watch TV? - but something to be aware of, especially if traveling with kids.

The rental was as listed, plus lots of extras that make a vacation easy: stocked spice cabinet, beach chairs, floats, etc. The management company was easy and quick to communicate with. Excellent property central to everything in the Keys.

Fantastic Keys Vacation.

Extremely nice and well equipped home. It's very close to everything; including the beach, restaurants, fishing, snorkeling, and just about anything you would want to do in the Keys! Highly recommend this home.

Great bachelor week with friends

Our group stayed here for a bachelor party in the keys. It was the perfect spot for home base in the middle keys, everything was super clean when we arrived, AC was cold, plenty of fridge and freezer space and nice comfortable beds. Jennifer was very responsive and easy to work with, she accommodated every request I had and got back to me within minutes if I had a question. I would highly recommend this property to any group interested in a stay in the keys.

Great house. Just as pictured.

The house is just as pictured. Super clean! We had plenty of room and loved having a space to dock the boat we rented. There’s ample space for parking 4 vehicles plus a trailer. My girls loved the pool toys that came with the house. The pool was the perfect size! Upon our arrival the pool was 95 degrees. It felt like a hot tub! We contacted the property manager and she sent over someone to chill the pool for us. He was there within an hour or so. He was very nice and helpful and showed us how to control the pool chiller if we wanted to make it a little cooler on our stay. He also aired up the bike tires while there. I will say, it cost us an extra $145 to have the pool chilled while we were there! I feel like that is something that should be done automatically before check in, being in south Florida. I found it a very steep price that we had to pay extra based on what we already paid for the house. We had no choice but to pay because there was no way we could have enjoyed the pool with the temperature it was upon arrival. I also want to warn any future guest about the biting gnats! They were awful in the mornings and evenings. They ate my girls up! There may be nothing that can done to control this, but future guests should bring bug spray! It might be a good idea for the property manager to set out some Off candles or tiki torches that repel bugs in the future. However, that would not hinder my decision to book this property again! It is a great property!

Beautiful Property

Everything was just as listed! We had an awesome time. Walked to Sombrero beach. Beautiful sunsets from the private pool and balcony. Rode bikes and close to grocery and all the great places to eat. Will be back next year

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed staying at Sombrero Heaven! The house is beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. We decided to bring our boat since the house had a private dock to use and the pool was a perfect way to end each day. Excellent communication with the property manager, Meredith! We absolutely would stay here again!!

This place is AWESOME!!

The property manager was fantastic. The pool was great after a day of fishing, lobstering & snorkeling. We had plenty of room for the 8 of us + our 2 year old. The dock held our 32’ yellowfin perfectly. I HIGHLY recommend this place. The only negatives: The grass was really high but they came to cut it on our last day there. Missing a smoke detector inside. The pool exit gate to the dock was faulty & was a concern for our little one. The mangrove at the dock needs trimming- especially if someone is staying next door with a boat. Make it a tight fit. The dock is in great shape tho. The location was great to go to Sombrero Beach, lighthouse and was really close to Publix & Winn Dixie. That was very convenient. The enrance / exit in the canals takes 15- 20 minutes. We didn’t mind as it gave us time to rig up while on our way out. The place was very secure and we didn’t have any concerns for our property. PLENTY of parking for 4 vehicles + our boat trailer. Property manager was FANTASTIC!!!

Beautiful property and excellent location

It was perfect for our family, swimming pool, fishing on the pier and close to shopping. The twins really enjoyed fishing off the pier and they caught a shark, a blue crab big enough to eat and too many small fish to count. The property was clean with plenty of room for our family of eight. Meridth was available for any issues that we had. We definitely would stay here again.

Paradise in Marathon

A phenomenal place to stay and we had 9 people in the house. A lot of room and immaculately finished (the pictures don’t even show the new couch on the porch)! The outdoor area was a perfect place to spend the afternoon and relax or swim. Hope to come back!
