leuk motel aan het water met klein zwembad
Mooi: Ruime kamer met 2 grote door half muurtje afgescheiden goede bedden. Grote koelkast. Mooie ligging aan water, Dolfijn in het water bij liggedeelte. Minder: kamer was om 3 uur nog niet klaar. Pas tegen 4 uur... In verhouding klein balkon waar maar 1 persoon kan zitten. Koffieapparaat met cupjes, er staan er vier de rest moet je dan kopen. Geen kitchenette. Staan wel borden en (te weinig) bestek die was je af in de badkamer. Motel ligt niet aan het strand, je moet hiervoor in de auto, terwijl er wel stond: at the beach. Ik vind de prijs echt veel te duur voor wat je krijgt. Als ik had geweten dat het niet aan het strand lag had ik dit niet geboekt, dan had ik het vele geld graag aan een andere plek uitgegeven.

Flashback to a 1960’s motor lodge with modern amenities! Great location, staff, and very fair prices. If we decide to come back to Marco Island, we will be back.

Accommodating staff. Family owned business. Nice, quiet, clean new rooms with fridge, microwave and nice bathrooms. Great price. Has a small pool and dock access with tables and chairs. Would definitely stay here again

Nice updated older 2 story building. Great managers and staff. Free parking next to rooms. Dead end quiet street. A boat dock on the backwaters. A nearby great restaurant/tiki bar Snooks, live music.

We liked that it was in a very walkable area. We enjoyed the patio area and the view. Had very loud people next to us but my husband called the management the second night and they took care of it immediately. Workers started Jack-hammering at 8, which I thought was pretty early Overall, a good stay

This was a quaint place to stay that had the mood of an older establishment, but the modern upgrades that are expected. It was comfortable and we enjoyed our stay.

Excellent location with several small restaurants within walking distance. Clean, spacious with a king bed, small table, plates, silverware, ample towels; they seemed to think of everything a guest might need. I would definitely stay here again.

The property is a throwback in time, which would be nice if it was properly maintained and appointed. The kitchenette has no sink (so, washing dishes and getting drinking water in the bathroom). The screen door to the small balcony needs maintenance and the small balcony needs a chair or two (though it doesn’t feel very sturdy, so maybe that’s why there aren’t chairs). There are no convenient hooks for towels and wash cloths in the bathroom. The main bedroom has two small bedside lights but it really needs at least one overhead or bright stand light to be able to see after dark. There are two televisions mounted to the wall with a few feet of one another, so it’s not possible to have them both used simultaneously. The air conditioner sounds like someone scrubbing the floor with a Brillo pad when it’s running. There is no recycling. The drain cover in the tub is loose. The staff were helpful, welcoming and friendly.

We greatly enjoyed the Boathouse. Our unit was roomy and well appointed. My favourite aspect was the common outdoor space on the water. Spending time on the large patio/dock relaxing, cooling off in the pool and watching boats and wildlife was so lovely. I highly recommend.

We came here on a whim no idea what it was going to be like we were traveling all around Florida from East Coast to West Coast and decided to stay an extra night here it was beautiful we saw dolphins swimming by the fishing was incredible it was a beautiful staythank you again for the free T-shirt

Everything was wonderful
This is a gem of a place privately owned as Desiree told us when checking in. The rooms are so beautifully decorated and equipped with everything you need. The rooms even have an outside patio to sit with your tea or coffee in the morning and there is also a good seating area by the pool at dockside with views of boats out on the water. Gorgeous views. We were just travelling through having come from the Keys and was so thrilled to have managed to book 2 rooms for our family as everything on Marco Island is now sold out much to our disappointment as we loved it so much on Marco Island we wanted to stay longer. We went to Tigertail beach it is the biggest beach I have ever seen. It’s gorgeous white sand and lots of shells to find. Would thoroughly recommend the Boat House and thank you Desiree for all your help and for a wonderful stay. We plan to come back to Marco Island as I fell in love with it.
