I’m glad you all enjoyed your stay. I apologize for the dryer, the heating element went out on it. I bought the dryer in January 2023…they sure don’t make things like they used to.

Out of the 247 reviews we currently have, 241 are 5-star reviews and 3 are 4-star reviews, which is 99% 4-star reviews or higher. Unfortunately, you can't make everyone happy, although we do our best, and not everyone is suited be in such a secluded environment, where they might see an insect. The cabin is located in the mountains and the driveway is easily navigated with a 2-wheel drive sedan, I've had a guest drive a corvette to the cabin without a problem. The road is gravel and it does climb the mountain to the cabin but it's very well maintained. Unfortunately, if you want a view you have to drive up to get it. With regard to the ants, the cabin is surrounded by thousands of acres of forest, the cabin is in their home. My philosophy is to tread lightly, sure I could spread pesticides and kill everything within a 100 yards, so you don't have to see one ant, but that doesn't seem responsible to me. I do put out small bait boxes to only eliminate the ants right around the cabin. Those do run out after some time and I have replaced those. With regard to the AC and WIFI, they didn't contact me one time after checking in, if they would have, I would have gotten everything working immediately. There are many reviews which state how responsive I am to my guests. When they checked out, I noticed the AC was not cooling and dehumidifying properly and had it fixed within a few hours. I wish they would have notified me, without the AC running, it won't dehumidify the air and being in a forested area by the river that causes the water content to drastically increase in the cabin and mold can grow quickly, in a forest spores are everywhere in the air. If you are taking a few showers a day and steaming up the inside of the cabin, which is all wood, the moisture content is going to drastically increase, and all life requires water, so you are asking for something like mold to start growing, just look at any shower stall or bathroom ceiling.... The cabin is thoroughly cleaned after each stay and we also do multiple seasonal deep cleans throughout the year to make sure it is spotless. I am super picky when I travel and above all else, I want a clean place to stay when I travel. With all that said, we go above and beyond to make sure all of our guests have an outstanding stay and everything is as perfect as possible during their stay, however, I can't correct a problem if I'm not notified, one call, text, or email would have solved all of this.
