Je hebt de gehele woning helemaal voor jezelf en hoeft dus alleen met je reisgezelschap te delen.

Dit schilderachtige huisje is de perfecte uitvalsbasis voor uw Yosemite reis.

Dit gezellige huisje is ongeveer 1100 vierkante voet, mooi ingericht en gelegen op 11 hectare bebost terrein. Na een lange dag van leuke activiteiten, drift om te slapen in een van de twee gezellige slaapkamers met vers-schoongemaakt comfortabele bedden. De bescheiden keuken is uitgerust met alles wat je nodig hebt om een ​​heerlijke maaltijd te bereiden. Ontspan op het dek, die een barbecue en zitplaatsen heeft om te genieten van de natuur op zijn best.  

Tijdens de wintermaanden, opwarmen met de houtkachel en standaard gasverwarming.  Tijdens de zomermaanden, afkoelen met kamers met airconditioning en een plafondventilator. 

Voor entertainment, we hebben een grote flatscreen-tv met een Apple TV, Netflix en alle premium kanalen. Daarnaast is er een Blueray dvd-speler met een uitgebreide collectie dvd's. Hoge snelheid Wifi is beschikbaar, zodat u kunt contact houden met de buitenwereld als je wilt.  Zo niet, schakel deze apparaten en luisteren naar het geluid van de wind in de bomen.

De gasten hebben toegang tot het hele huis en 11 hectare eigendom.

U zult in de lodge bij de check-in worden begroet door uw gastheer en getoond rond het pand. Op dat moment zullen we u graag adviseren de lokale activiteiten en attracties. Wij zullen u met ons contact informatie in het geval u vragen of opmerkingen.  Anders kunt u genieten van het huis om jezelf de rest van de tijd!

De Buurt:
Mariposa is een schilderachtige historische stad ligt op 20 minuten afstand van de woning. De stad heeft heerlijke restaurants en bars.  Je zult interessante winkels, waaronder antiquiteiten en western / cowboy thema memorabilia te vinden.

Gelegen halverwege tussen de steden van Oakhurst en Mariposa off Highway 49.
In beide stad zijn er grote supermarkten en restaurants.

45 minuten van de El Portal of de Mariposa Grove ingangen naar het prachtige Yosemite National Park.

30 minuten naar Bass Lake, die bekend staat voor een uitstekende vissen, wandelpaden en warme wateren.  Wake grenzen massaal naar Bass Lake in de lente en de zomer net als schipper, waterskiërs, paddle boarders, wave runner liefhebbers en nog veel meer.

Nice stay

It was a cozy stay for my family and I. The place has everything we needed, fully equipped kitchen and a lot of towels and blankets. The furniture were comfortable. The place was cleaned and it was in a good location. I would like for the place to have more lighting since it was hot and the drapes were closed to keep sunlight out.

very nice property and away from the town .Management very responsive and prompt.

It is a very well maintained property with good fixtures and well stocked kitchen. Also had a whirlpool hot water outside which is helpful after coming back from hiking. It is however very far from the National park as we had to drive nearly 1 1/2 hrs to reach Yosemite.

The Great Outdoors and Cozy Cottage

My boyfriend and I needed a quick getaway from the daily grind and found this Vrbo rental near Yosemite. We brought our dogs and the property was perfect for them to explore without bothering neighbors. The property owners were so friendly and helpful, responsive to calls/texts. The cottage was pristine, wifi was good considering the remote location. Great selection of tv channels and dvds for a quiet night of R&R. I loved the kitchen cookware, utensils and ease of use. I made a couple meals to enjoy on the spacious back patio. Queen sized beds had fresh linens and heavy curtains blocked out the bright morning sun if you like to sleep late. Highly recommend this little cottage off the beaten path yet less than 2 hrs from Yosemite.

Quiet, Comfortable, Secluded

The property was just as presented. The kitchen is well equipped; the bathroom is clean and updated; beds are comfortable; the gas grill is nearly new; everything works. For working remotely, as we did, the fiber optic cable was fast and reliable throughout our stay. The cottage is about a mile and a half off the main highway (#49), along a well maintained gravel road, with lots of spacing between rural neighbors. The only negative was the in-your-face political displays during election week...not just the preponderance of Trump signs and flags, but also confederate flags; state of Jefferson signs; postings warning “outsiders” that they are being watched; lots of long guns and side arms on belligerent display. On a walk with my dog, a neighbor about a mile distant from the cabin purposefully set his dog loose to tun us around and chuckled from his porch as we did so. No one explicitly threatened us, but—notwithstanding the isolation of the cabin—it is clear that the dispersed neighborhood does not welcome strangers.

Great getaway

We enjoyed our trip! This home was clean and cozy. It was nice that it’s so far away from all the hustle and bustle. We could go to Yosemite during the day, be around lots of people, but at night we were far from people. Loved it. The property was great for our dog as well. Felt very comfortable in this place!

Private and Perfect Location

The house was well-equipped and centrally located -- we headed out to the Sierra National Forest and did a lot of "off the beaten track" hikes. Even the "neighborhood" walks was lovely. Very friendly owner. Everything was great.

Perfect for our stay

We really loved this little place - it worked well for our needs for the few days we planned to be visiting Yosemite. I liked that the cabin was equidistant from both the El Portal gate and the South gate, and we utilized both. The space was clean, quiet, and had everything we needed for our stay. The communication was prompt and thorough. We had a great stay and will definitely return again if we get out that way!

Amazing, cozy, clean, isolated!

I always travel and rent cabins all over the states. This one is so far my favorite near Yosemite area. It is very private, with lots of space for your furry friends to run around. Isolated (very important to me when I choose a cabin). Cozy, furniture is nice. Beds are very comfortable. Wood burning stove and gas grill always a big plus. Just perfect! About 30 min away from Mariposa and about an hour away from Yosemite entrance. Will definitely rent it again next time we are in Yosemite.

We loved it!

We had an absolutely lovely stay at Tchukon's place. It's spacious, quiet, surrounded by beautiful woods, and it has everything for a comfortable vacation. The dog had a great time as well :) If you're coming for more than a couple days, check out Mariposa, it's a very nice town. And of course the beauty of Yosemite completely blew our mind. If you plan on having a movie night or listening to music, it might be a good idea to bring your own: the cabin's internet connection was quite slow during our stay, so Netflix and internet radio were unavailable.

Decent Cozy Cabin!

The cabin is quite dark during the day however it is very cozy at night with the fireplace going. The beds are comfortable. The kitchen is adequate.

We loved our time in this cabin. Lovely & quite location. Very well equipped property. Beautiful ,large bedrooms with such comfortable beds. Lounge & kitchen superb too. We particularly loved the decking area around the cabin & spent a couple of very happy evenings sitting just looking up at the stars from the comfortable seating provided. Mariposa is approximately eleven miles away & a great little town. Good eating places & general shops to be found there. Would definitely recommend this cabin & hope to stay again one day.
