The staff did not know what they were doing. They told us they didn’t have the room we booked, they were going to upgrade us for free. The room they gave us already had someone in it. They said they could give us a bed with a king in it, i had booked a suite because we were there with our son for a baseball tournament. A king would mean he’d have to share a bed with us so I told them that would not work. They said I could get a roll away, the manager had to approve not paying for this addition. I told them they should absolutely not be charging me for it since I paid for a suite more than big enough for the 3 of us and it’s not my fault they overbooked. We booked this hotel because the one we originally booked told us the pool was closed. When we got to this hotel they told us the pool was closed for 24 hours for chemicals. 24 hours later they said the same thing. The restaurant in the hotel
Was not open, we could not get any information about breakfast. In general this hotel was not clean, and 2 of the 4 elevators were broken. We took the stairs which was fine with us but there was an event that made the two working elevators almost impossible to get to. We ended up switching hotels for our second night. The manager said he would “do his best” to get our money back for the second night. We will see. But I would not recommend staying here if you want even your basic needs for a hotel stay met.
