Time Out Cottage - Gelegen langs de Doe Lake Road, ongeveer 12 mijl van Munising.

Iedereen heeft af en toe een beetje 'Time Out' nodig. Deze handgemaakte ceder blokhut is onze time-out geweest en we willen deze graag met u delen. Dit is een familie blokhut, samengesteld uit logs off van het pand. Het heeft 4 slaapkamers en 1-1 / 2 baden en een grote zolder; keuken en woonkamer omgeven door een afgeschermde veranda. Het interieur is helemaal knoestig grenen met eiken vloeren en slaapkamers met vloerbedekking. De cabine wordt verwarmd door een gashaard. Draadloos internet en satelliet-tv zijn inbegrepen voor uw vermaak. Er is een vaste telefoon voor lokale gesprekken en een beperkte mobiele telefoonservice als u op de juiste plek staat. De cabine slaapt acht en de 4e slaapkamer, de droge logeerkamer, boven de garage slaapt nog vier. Ga op de veranda zitten en geniet van de rustige, of binnen een korte rit vinden uitstekende vissen, jagen, watervallen en site zien. Gelegen in het hart van het nationale bos van Hiawatha, biedt kilometers lange boswegen om in uw ATV's te varen. Er is een vuurplaats met banken en stokken voor hoefijzers. Er zijn speelgoed voor de kinderen en een VCR-filmcollectie.

Adorable cabin

We loved our stay at the cabin! Its secluded and and private, and we loved our family time there. The cabin is adorable inside and is stocked with everything you need. The entire rental process was smooth, and comminication with the hosts was amazing.

Loved this place!. Follow the "yoopers" AC instructions, it Really does work! Matches for the grill are in a box top the fridge. Secure the trash cans at the road, so they dont get knocked over. Make sure to schedule pictured rocks tour early. That way if the weather changes you can reschedule. Plenty of places to eat and all where fab!

Dream Vacation

Lovely location in the heart of the forest. The cabin was equipped with everything you might need. Very nice variety of children's books/movies/games/outdoor toys, well beyond what we imagined. The children absolutely loved the place and the long swings outside. The cabin was clean, pleasant, and cozy. We had a great time and would love to be back.

Late summer weekend getaway

Me and my family stayed here as lodging for our visit to the pictured rocks. The cabin was a good location to the park , only a 25 to 30 minute drive . We couldent believe how quiet it was. The cabin was very clean, and had more than enough room for our family. They also provided plenty of gear for outdoor games and activities. If you stay here in cooler weather, be advised that the bedrooms on the lower level can be quite cool if the doors are closed. Overall, the cabin is an exellant place to enjoy your vacation.

Home away from home

Absolutely loved this place. The house is set up to comfortably accommodate a decent amount of people for a small home. Plenty of parking and a big yard plus all the yard toys in the shed. The only negative is the mesquitoes so bring some repellent.

Great cabin, rude property manager

Nice cabin and outside space that is very private, in the middle of the woods which is nice! Has everything you need in the kitchen etc. About 20 minutes to an hour away from things to do. I could have just hung out at the cabin the whole time but we visited all the pictured rocks areas and some waterfalls. Only DOWNFALL was the communication with property manager who was very rude when I asked a question when first booking. It honestly made me want to cancel my reservation. I didn’t appreciate it and the interaction gave the whole experience a bad taste.

A wonderful cabin, with lots of attention to detail!! Plenty of parking, perfect for snowmobile groups with trailers!! The fire pit area in the back yard is so relaxing, also loved the huge swing!

Relaxing Remote Stay

Beautiful Log Cabin many miles from the hustle and bustle of city life. Great place to get away to relax and enjoy the woods by the campfire. Attention to detail on the inside too! Kitchen had every thing required to make an evenings meal. Bed was comfortable and quiet. Would definitely recommend for a relaxing weeks get away!

Great Cabin and Location

The cabin is cozy and well built, so much character. It has a very secluded feel, but is only half hour from town. You don’t even have to leave the yard to have a great time. My kids and I loved every minute!! We hope to come back again some time.

Better Than the Pictures!

The Time Out Cabin was a great home base for our family's visit to the UP. We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived - the cabin itself is gorgeous - with tons of natural light coming through a second story window. The property includes a great play space for children including a shed with lots of outdoor games, a fire pit, and a swing set. The location was quite a bit away from town, but we just added a bit of time to our trips out for hikes, waterfalls, and food. We would definitely recommend this location and may visit again!

Wonderful place to relax and reset

This was a wonderful retreat to relax and enjoy nature! We were looking for a place where we could have the outdoor feel of camping, with the amenities of a shower :). Wonderful location away from the hectic bustle of town life, it was perfectly located to still drive into Munising/ Lake Superior and take day hiking trips throughout Hiawatha National Forest. Also the kitchen was excellently stocked with cooking utensils, appliances (crock pot!), pots and pans - far more than any other vrbo we have stayed at. Owners were nice and prompt in their replies, and easy to ask questions of. We would easily rent this cabin again for future trips, and look forward to planning our next adventure!
