We needed a place to stay close to the Marquette Mountain for My son's regional ski meet. It was the perfect place to come back prepare dinner and relax!

This is a great home for a family or friends bigger group Stay. Convenient location close to town, ski hills and Bike trails. Well stocked with everything a family needs. We enjoyed our stay.

Excellent location for NMU festivities
This was our choice as opposed to hotels for the NMU graduation. Plenty of space for everyone, and allowed us to cook, play games and spend time with each other.

Great place!
We came to Marquette for work (6 of us) and chose to stay in this house because of the amenities and location, it did not disappoint! The house is well appointed, clean and the setting is beautiful! The home owners are nice and really care about you having a great stay. Staying here made our work trip great!

Convenient & spacious
Cat & Rob were great hosts, accommodating and very quick in answering all of our questions! The house was conveniently located for us, close to the many mountain bike trails and a short drive to town. More than enough space for us, which was great because spending a full week together you do sometimes need a bit of privacy 😉. Traffic noise starts early in the morning, and because we were there for part of a holiday weekend, it was fairly loud on Friday & Saturday night. Enjoyed the fire pit and the mattresses were as comfortable as what we have at home. Overall, good place to stay for a summer vacation, really reasonable compared to the summer hotel/motel rates in town.

Wonderful time!
We enjoyed our stay. Lots of room for our group. It is next to a highway, so you hear a lot of road noise. I liked the fenced in dog area. There were lots of dishes and kitchen appliances available for our stay. Overall, a great time!

Great house, great location
My husband and I stayed at Cliffs Ridge for a week and our friends (family of 4) joined us for a weekend. The house was so comfortable for our group— more than enough space for all. The bonfire pit was great. We shoveled it all out and had a fun winter fire! It’s also so quick to get into town and back or out to the Crossroads. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again!

Amazing stay in the UP!
This property was so perfect for our long weekend moving our son up to Marquette! The location made it great for going downtown, heading to stores, or finding adventures hiking and experiencing the UP. Highly recommend staying here!

Everything was exactly as stated in description of property. More than enough linens, towels, kitchen items etc., great wifi. The house is a quick drive from downtown and shopping, very convenient but in a quiet location. Great location for sightseeing in the Marquette region of the U.P. and it was spacious and convenient for quiet evenings. Cat is a very accommodating host as well.

The home had a great location and kitchen was well supplied. For a longer stay they need more bathroom towels, since there is no washer and dryer that was a issue. The home is old and dated and smells like dog, could use some updating. Overall it definitely did the job and communication with manager was always great.

There is a washer and dryer as stated in all of the advertising. The house is professionally cleaned between guests and deep cleaned several times a year when there is enough time between reservations. The people before you didn't have a dog, but you did that had not been declared. I'm glad you enjoyed the house otherwise. Thanks for choosing Cliffs Ridge

Family Visit
We had a great stay. The house was perfect and very comfortable. Unfortunately we didn't have a chance to use the fire pit but the area looked inviting especially with the hanging patio lights. Would definitely stay again.

We spent a week in Marquette prior to dropping our freshman daughter off at NMU. This house was in a perfect location for our multiple trips to campus, close enough, yet far enough to get away from the hustle and bustle of Marquette. The house was very clean, beds were comfortable, lots of room to spread out. The kitchen was small but well equipped. The air conditioning was very much appreciated as the weather was unusually hot. We did experience a rather foul septic smell on the first floor, I wish I would have contacted the owner sooner, as she had a simple solution to the issue. We used the fire pit one night….was awesome!! I did enjoy the owner’s artwork scattered throughout the house. Thank you for sharing your house with our family. Brian

Marquette MI - Cliffs Ridge Cabin
The vacation stay at Cliffs Ridge was exactly what my family needed. The property is maintained in an excellent manner. The cabin setting is just far enough away from the city to give you that isolated U.P. Michigan experience but close enough to be in downtown Marquette within minutes. The owner Cat is awesome!!! Excellent stay!!!

Beautiful home
Very nice and clean. Large 2 story home. Only thing I as an old arthritic guy was the stairs. The steps were shorter than standard. I have size 13 feet. Very steep to second floor. AC worked great in hot weather. Not being negative just commenting for those of u that like to sleep in dark rooms. There are very bright skylights in master room only. Great hosts. Oh I thought ther was alot of highway noise when AC off and windows open. Near Matquette proper. Cat (owner) was very communicative. Rest of family had no complaints!

There is a lot of highway noise toward the front of the house since the state keeps adding on to the highway. We aren't happy about it either, and that is why we have been moving the outdoor life to the back of the property (like the great bonfire pit that is about to get a new deck platform and electricity for hanging lights). As I said in the email we are probably either taking out the skylights or building an apartment on top of that room. First time we have ever had a complaint about light, though! And we overlooked the fact that you parked on the lawn. I guess we will have to put a fence there although I really didn't want to have to do that. As far as the stairs go, short of ripping them out completely and building new ones, that is the way they were when we bought the house in 1989. That's why we have three railings and signs about the steepness. Otherwise you left the house very clean. Thank you.

Great Marquette get-a-way
Everything was exactly as stated in description of property. More then enough linens, towels, kitchen items etc. We stayed up in the UP with a group of guys on a motorcycle trip. Location was perfect, clean, great wifi, enough room for all of us. Comfortable beds, nice washrooms and great kitchen with two tables to fit all. We will definitely be back. Great house in Marquette
We came up for NMU graduation weekend. The house was only a few minutes from downtown and shopping, very convenient but away from hustle and bustle. Had plenty of room, comfy beds, great kitchen. Owner, Cat was very nice! I would stay here again. Very close to the ski hill and bike trails too.

We had a great time--came up to Marquette to visit our son and the small group turned into a large one. Owners were very easy to talk to and we appreciate the flexibility of adding guests last minute. Great location, nice place
Lovely home conveniently located near Marquette Mountain. We were mainly there for hiking and enjoying the downtown area. An entire trail network is located within a mile of the house. Downtown Marquette is less than 10 minutes away. Everything we wanted to do was within 20 minutes. The house was clean and spacious. The cost is very reasonable. Two of the bedrooms have a window facing the highway, so keep that in mind if you're a light sleeper. We had a sound machine and earplugs so we adjusted to this quickly. We had an amazing time, thank you!

Mountain Biking Mecca
We came in to town for the Ore to the Shore race and found this wonderful piece of property. It was located near one of the trailheads for mountain biking, it was 8 miles from town. The accommodations were just as described. We enjoyed drinks by the fire in the evening and spent time on both the upper and lower decks. Both decks have BBQ's on the which make it easy for a large group or if you are hanging out in the backyard or staying indoors and using the upper deck.

Great base for family vacation in Marquette area
Cliff's Ridge is nestled in a grove of trees next to one of the main roads into Marquette. It's just a short drive to area attractions and downtown Marquette and about an hour to Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. My wife and I, two grown sons, and daughter-in-law, enjoyed the ample space, dining room table for meals and playing games, and outdoor fire pit in particular. The traffic noise was the only downside to a nice outdoor deck and sitting area. Cat, the owner, was very responsive to our communications.

Hi Mark, The state keeps moving the highway closer in our direction, hopefully they are done with that. We have been been shifting the outdoor focus toward the back of the house because of the noise (the large back deck with second grill and bar, and the fire pit for instance). We still love our house in spite of that, and the good part about the highway is it gets you anywhere in the vicinity in about five minutes. Thank you for choosing Cliffs Ridge! Cat

Cliff's Ridge, a great place to stay!
Cliff's Ridge is a very clean and spacious home, perfect for a group, and we loved that we could bring our dog. We were all very comfortable here, a great family get together! The only issue was you can hear the traffic, but other than that, it was a great stay.
