This house is very spacious and in a great location for a quick drive to Cassis or exploring the countryside. We had two families so one took the three bedrooms and full bath on the ground floor by the pool, which was sort of like their own wing, and my husband and I took the 3rd floor bedroom with full bath and our son took the 2nd floor bedroom and shared our bath (he had to climb a flight of stairs and come through our room to shower, but used the powder room on the ground floor otherwise). The pool is huge, clean and lovely, and we liked the many outdoor seating areas. The kitchen is well equipped. The electronic gate and parking are fabulous, and we never felt the need to lock the doors in the house since all of that is so secure. Just a few issues, especially given that this house is not inexpensive: The written house instructions when you get there could be more thorough; for example, for the washer/dryer, which is hard to figure out. I think the listing said AC but we didn't find it, but it was pretty nice at night and we had a great breeze on the third floor, as well as fabulous views. Our friends arrived first and had to go out and buy toilet paper and paper towels, which seems a little odd. No toilet paper?? There's a couple of great coffee maker options but be prepared to go out and buy coffee. The kitchen has a lot in it, but it's not especially well-organized and you have that feeling lots of other people have been there and used everything since it's all a jumble and not especially clean. Other people's old food is in the cabinets too. My biggest issue was there were no bath or beach towels (only hand towels), the pool house was a dirty mess, and the cushions on the pool chairs are getting old, ripped and even a little moldy. The outdoor tables were really dirty and needed a good cleaning before setting out a nice meal. The bedrooms need reading lamps. The bulbs in our 3rd floor bathroom were burned out. Some of the furniture is falling apart. I'm not one to usually call all this out, but this is a nice, expensive house that could be really phenomenal with attention to details, deep cleaning overall and between guests, and inexpensive updates, like fixing the furniture that's breaking, replacing light bulbs, providing amenities like bedside tables with lamps, fluffy towels in the bathrooms and by the pool, and making the pool house functional and nice vs just a catch all for all kinds of detritus.
