Ozark Mountain Retreat

Ontspan en blijf een tijdje bij Casa Linda. We zijn net klaar met de renovatie van ons droomhuis en we kunnen niet wachten om het met u te delen. Onze moderne boerderij gelegen op vier prachtige hectare is uitgerust met alles wat u nodig heeft om uw verblijf speciaal te maken, waaronder twee jacuzzi's, een tweepersoons douche, grote keuken met veel zitplaatsen voor grote familiediners, open haard en houtkachel. Hoogwaardig beddengoed en beddengoed zorgen voor een fantastische nachtrust en twee grote televisieschermen met Netflix, Hulu en Amazon Prime-accounts bieden onbeperkt entertainment. Ook; vergeet niet de onbeperkte WiFi, voor het geval u ervoor kiest om verbonden te blijven.

Ons vier hectare groot huis is gelegen in het hart van de Ozark Mountains. Wij zijn gevestigd net buiten Marshall Arkansas; het is ongeveer acht minuten rijden naar de stad, waar u verschillende restaurants, een supermarkt en zelfs een rit in een bioscoop kunt vinden. De Buffalo National River is slechts ongeveer zeven mijl afstand en er zijn verschillende plaatsen in het gebied waar je kano's kunt huren voor de dag en genieten van een adembenemend landschap dat de rivier biedt. Blanchard Spring Caverns is een autorit verwijderd en is toevallig mijn favoriete visplek voor forel. Branson Missouri is slechts 1,5 uur rijden. In de directe omgeving zijn er eindeloze mogelijkheden om te jagen, vissen, wandelen, zwemmen of gewoon in de natuur rijden. Very nice property in wonderful condition and furnished very nicely to accommodate small to very large group. Situated in quiet rural setting. Convenient to the Buffalo River and any needs such as groceries or restaurants. Host, Joshua, readily accessible by phone or text throughout trip planning and our stay. Very nice and friendly. Secluded Mtn Getaway

This property has lots of great spaces for visiting around the kitchen & in the living area. There are a couple spacious bedrooms with en suite bathrooms and a couple smaller bunk bedrooms that share a large bathroom with laundry in a closet. Well equipped, well arranged, well appointed, well stocked & well located.

Definitely the most updated rental in the Marshal Area. The house itself was very charming and had plenty of space to fit a large family comfortably. The road getting to the house is a bit rough but manageable and the option for a little more privacy in the master bathroom would be nice. Having people be able to enter the driveway and able to fully see into the shower/tub is a little unsettling.

Better than the pictures!

This home exceeded all expectations. It was clean and had awesome community spaces to spend time together. The neighborhood is in a scenic loops that overlooks rolling hills. There are two rocking benches, and picnic tables outside. We drove 20 minutes to rent kayaks for the Buffalo River and had a great experience at the Kendra Drive-in movie theatre. The only thing I would bring if I went back is a baking dish, as there were only baking sheets and a bread/cake pans!

Nice relaxing stay, beautiful house

We enjoyed our stay at the house. The kitchen was well equipped and perfect for cooking a dinner and packing our lunches. We loved the large shower. However, I agree with a previous review - the master bath needs something on the windows. The road is to close to the house for there to be open windows in the bathroom/shower. Also, please note this is a DRY COUNTY. So pick up any alchol before arriving.

Voyeuristic No Hot Tub

The house and property are nice. In my search I specified a hot tub because we had been camping all week. The listing came up as having a hot tub, but there is none. A big bath with bubbles does not a hot tub make. There were some dirty dishes in the cabinet. The worst part was the fish bowl bathrooms. No curtains and extremely large clear windows. The beds were rather uncomfortable and multiple tiny steps make the house a bit dangerous to walk around in. We wanted to really enjoy the property but there are quite a few things that need to be adressed. The bathroom windows number one. We were dissapointed.

Soooo Disappointed

I am so sad about the experience we had with this property. We arrived from 8 hours away to a VERY remote area with no internet or cell service and no information from the owner on how to access the property. We ended up having to stay somewhere else, and once he gave us the check in info, it was obvious that he had copied and pasted from a previous guest. Due to the outdoor upkeep of the property and the remote location, we didn’t feel comfortable staying there considering that the codes to get in the house were available to other people. (The owner lives in Florida & has a nephew who oversees the property.) We were willing to pay for the property despite not feeling safe staying there, but we did ask the owner for a refund on the night we didn’t have the info to access it as well as the cleaning fee since we didn’t stay there. He agreed and then ghosted us. So… all that to say, I can’t speak to the inside of the house, but we had a terrible experience with this booking.

Beautiful House

We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home. It was spacious, very comfortable and in a nice setting. I agree with other reviewers that no curtains on the bathroom windows was a little disconcerting. We managed to cover them with life jackets and other things. You could have waved at people coming down the road taking a shower or sitting on the commode in the master bath. They ask that you clean your dishes before you leave. Be careful as whoever was there before us put lots of dirty pans back in the cabinets. One cast iron skillet probably had a quarter of an inch of grease and what looked like little bits of bacon in it. I season my cast iron too, but rinse them out with hot water after using them.

Great house with a couple of issues

First and foremost let me say this is a really nice place. I booked this as a romantic weekend with my fiance as a thank you for her support in my ultramarathon. The good: The kitchen is fantastic and we made some great meals. The overall house is spacious and the decor just makes it cozy. Location is great just outside of Marshall and easy to find. The double tub is really nice. Not so good: We were both excited about the cool shower in the master Unfortunately most of the nozzles/shower heads were stopped up. Both of us were bummed about this. The master bed was very uncomfortable. It looks to be an older mattress with a memory foam topper but the topper is worn out. Not a good night's rest. The house has many big windows and besides for the bedrooms none of them have coverings. The bathroom windows aren't frosted or anything. There is a dirt road that is in view of most of these windows. And a neighbor house at one side. It did not feel very private especially if you are looking for a romantic getaway. All in all it's a nice place and would be great for a big family or multiple families. Has a huge kitchen table and plenty of spaces. And bandit is a great dog to hang out with while you are grilling.

Our group of 7 absolutely loved this place! The modern yet rustic interior design, the cleanliness, the spaciousness, and the amenities available. Tt really felt like home for us and we were immediately made to feel comfortable. Joshua is an excellent host and was very responsive and helpful with recommendations for kayaking and fishing. We are definitely going to make this an annual spot for our reunions. Highly recommend!
