'This was a nice hotel at one time. Not long ago. We stayed on a Friday night and there were only 10 cars in the parking lot. It’s my belief that this hotel needs an upgrade, but simply can’t afford it. It’s such a great location in Port Huron, close to all the wonderful amenities, this town offers, but… the room was dated, the bath mat was stained, the carpet was stained, and the staff was kind but definitely new and inexperienced with dealing with a public. There was a very heavy, musty smell...

'its a great historic house with a large living space. Everything is updated. walking distance to downtown and the river. We were in town for a funeral and visiting relatives so we only used the house for sleeping, showering and getting dressed. the house was clean and well stocked with towels and everything we needed. I would stay there again.'
