This is a tough review. the place itself is amazing, nestled on a hill with stunning water views. The neighboring town was quaint and convenient; there's even a walkable agritismo restaurant a short (but uphill walk). It's very disorientating to get there with no signage; the road address is misleading as the road on this "street" is cut off by private property and backing up a twisted deep hill for a long way is not fun; once n the right road, the last steep downhill, bumpy, tight, unlit road is not for the uninitiated. Glad we didn't experience strong rainy nights; Don't try this with a van. The host apparently set us up to meet at spot where she would guide us....but wrote it in Italian (shame on us for laziness). She did eventually meet us which was helpful. Showers were terrible with sporadic hot water; bring toilet tissue; site mentions washer (not connected) and microwave (couldn't find). Host was rude to some of our friends, yet responsive when there was an issue with one of the cars. Refused to give receipt for tourist tax (provided everywhere else we went). For English speakers, verbal communication is extremely difficult. The pricing is excellent, but understandable given the challenges. With some modifications, this would be an amazing stay; without it, it's like the showers, hot or cold.
