Villa Waters Edge

Villa Waters Edge is a charming three-level villa, with direct access to the beach. It sleeps 8 people. The villa is about 250 square meters, and has private parking (1 parking space), direct access to the sea, panoramic private terraces with sea views, air conditioning and WI-FI Internet.
From the villa you will enjoy a breathtaking view of the sea and of the island of Capri.

Located in an enchanted place, with an amazing sea view and a few steps from the beach, Villa Waters Edge is ideal for a relaxing holiday.

The villa consists of five bathrooms and four double bedrooms with terrace and sea view.

The villa is equipped with independent air conditioning / heating system in the different rooms, TV, free WIFI connection, washing machine, dishwasher, iron and ironing board, hairdryer, kettle, courtesy set.

From the beach starts a pedestrian path of about 1 km that runs along the sea and leads directly to the small fishing village of Marina della Lobra where you will find bars and food shops.

IMPORTANT: In response to COVID-19, this property has extended cleaning and disinfection measures and protocols to ensure the safety of guests.

Italy review

The villa was beautiful and very comfortable for our family. We enjoyed the gorgeous view that we had every morning. Martina was so gracious and responded to our needs and requests so promptly. My only suggestions would be to have a regular coffee maker. There were several outlets not functioning. Italy is a beautiful country and we were able to have a wonderful experience exploring it.

Beautiful

Firstly, the owners are lovely and very helpful. The place is lovely and the location is amazing. Being able to walk straight out of the apartment to the sea was sick a treat and the view is breath taking at sunrise and Sunset. Convenient to Sorrento, but there are bars and restaurants in waking distance. The restaurants near by were good avoid very friendly. Treat yourself to a stay here!

Magnificent Views!!

We had an amazingly time at Waters Edge! Martina was very accommodating and the villa is beautiful! The views are spectacular! Every bedroom has an ocean view! There are several restaurants and a grocery within a 10 minute walk. I would highly recommend staying at Water's Edge. What hope to return one day.

Breathtaking Views!

Stayed here while visiting my daughter who was studying in Sorrento. Such a great and spacious property. There were 5 of us with more than enough room for us all! The sunrises and sunsets were fantastic. Martina was very, very helpful and highly communicative. Walk to a store, a bar and a couple of restaurants. Short commute to Sorrento, but without a car you will need a taxi contact or private shuttles to take you places, which Martina was happy to assist with! Great property!

Fabulous location, actually on the water's edge, stunning views, superb comfort

This is the best holiday property ever - and we have tried a lot of different ones. 1. The location is outstanding, you actually walk out of the back doorway onto the waters edge, with beautiful water for swimming and stone space for sunbathing (sunbeds and lilos provided). Shady balconies for cool mornings, then the sun comes around and you have a sunny afternoon and sunset over the water. 2. The house is beautifully equipped and set up. Good wifi. Super showers. well-equipped kitchen, good beds. 3. Easily stroll 700m along the waterfront to Marina de la Lobra for quaint marina, daily groceries, cafe, and boat trips to Capri and more. 4. friendly welcome: Rafaele came and found us when we got lost, and could not have been more helpful with suggestions for trips and responding to our requests. Martina provided friendly advice when we were planning. 5. good restaurants nearby, so many different ones to try in local towns and villages, can easily arrange a taxi pickup for restaurants and grocery shopping if you don't want to walk or drive up the very steep hillside. Practical note: not suitable for Granny with stiff knees/hips, the house has a lot of stairs and access is down a steep hill, and the way into the water is rocky.

Has its pros and cons

Pros: 1.The villa is spacious; each member of our family had their own bedroom and bathroom. The air conditioning worked great (super important in Italy in the summer!) 2. The view of the sea is stunning. We loved watching the sunset from the balcony (but use mosquito repellent!) 3. The hosts were quick to respond to whatsapp messages. 4. Direct access to the water! 5. Every room has a balcony, which is lovely. 6. Nice restaurants nearby: Da Michele and Il Cantuccio were amazing Cons: 1. The wifi was non-existent on the lower levels of the house. I had to climb 3 flights of stairs any time I needed the internet. The hosts need to do a much better job setting up reliable wifi. It is a non-negotiable requirement these days. (Especially since cell service in Massa Lubrense is spotty.) 2. The listing is inaccurate when it says all the beds are double beds. Two of them are. The other two are single beds shoved together. This would still be okay except that the bed frames prevent the mattresses from joining, so there's a gap in the middle. This was really bad for my hip/back. The host said they would not change the mattress. Very misleading aspect of the listing. 3. The kitchen is very poorly equipped. We had to get the hosts to provide proper cutting boards, teacups, clean cutlery, scissors, and several other items. For the price being paid, the kitchen should be well stocked with cooking supplies and utensils. 4. The villa was filthy when we arrived. There was old coffee in the coffee pot, mildew in drawers, and a layer of dust on all the plates/bowls. The host got the villa cleaned when we complained, which I appreciate, but it's disconcerting to arrive somewhere so dirty.
