'What a sparkling gem to find Helen and Peter’s place to end our stay in Fiji. Just perfect for the 2 of us. Its quiet, amazing 180 degree views of the ocean and the islands,beautiful garden with the old gracious mango tree and comfortable bed, and value for money compared to our stays in resorts. 'The staff at Garden Island Resort are all so lovely and caring. The gardens at the front of the building are beautiful. The location is not great for snorkeling right from the resort though amazing diving and snorkelling is available close by. The pool is directly underneath a cauldron of bats, not 1-2 bats but close to 100. The bats are screeching constantly throughout the day and there are bat droppings on the pool deck. There are few close amenities and not much within walking distance....

'Staff very helpful. Non intrusive. Bures(cottages) very private and very well kept up and very romantic. Great food. Attentive wait staff Small venue. So it’s very private feeling. Amazing opportunities to snorkel very close by. Not on the best beach for a swim but can have a private experience on a private beautiful beach to yourselves 5 min boat ride away. Pool area well maintained. Tables at mealtime well spaced so can have own conversations. Opportunities to do some fun excursions. '

'Super nice mellow uncrowded resort. Can snorkel and swim in the bay. They will arrange all activities, have onsite scuba diving pick up, food was excellent, and service was top notch. Bring some deet for the mosquitos though. '

'The unit, property and services were simply breathtaking. Great location. We were picked up at the airport, brought to the property, checked in and sitting in the unit all within 15 minutes. The amenities from the resort are easy to use and everyone was very helpful. The unit and grounds were immaculate. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this property to anyone staying in Taveuni.'
