'The hotel is dated. The rooms are in desperate need of refurbishment. We had booked an extra bed and was not provided a pillow. The bathroom was not clean. We were meant to stay for two nights and checked out after the first night. The breakfast is substandard. The hotel seems short staffed—when we checked out it was the bellhop that did the processing of the paperwork and not the reception staff and this was around 9am. According to their ‘proforma invoice’ we are owed a refund of Rs. 5407...

However, guests are inconvenienced due to 1) no desk in room. I was told by reception that desks are available in superior rooms and not in basic rooms. I checked hotel’s website and don’t see any mention of desks in superior/ other rooms or any photos showing desk in room?? 2) Electrical outlets locations are poorly located in relation...

'Our stay at Lockhart Bungalow was awesome! Great hospitality & fantastic cooking. Beautiful early morning and afternoon hikes through the tea estate, both with guide and without. Very serene setting. Visit to tea factory very interesting and recommendable. '

'Great property, huge rooms with a separate sitting area. Balcony with great valley views. Food and beverage service is dirty and unhygienic. Sugar is dirty, lying open under the service desk at the canteen. No glass ware in the rooms for water etc. were provided paper cups, how un-ecofriendly. Even if you want to have any drink it’s the paper cups. They are going through 100’s of paper cups each day/ how easy to provide glassware in rooms. The room had dust and cobwebs.
