Matlock is in the heart of the Derbyshire Dales, it is a charming market town surrounded by stunning countryside, offering a wide range of activities for visitors of all interests. Known as the "Little Switzerland" of England, Matlock Bath is a picturesque village just a short distance from Matlock itself. Take a leisurely stroll along the River Derwent, enjoy the views of the surrounding hills, or explore the quaint shops and cafés. Hiking and Walking Trails are in abundance in the area, there are numerous scenic walking routes nearby, including the Derwent Valley Heritage Way, Lathkill Dale, and the High Peak Trail.
