'Staff very welcoming. Food really nice and very filling. Perfect stay for us. Thankyou'

'De ligging was uniek en zeer gemakkelijk om van daaruit diverse interessante plaatsen te bereiken.'

'Really cosy and a lovely place to stay - I stayed on my own and the staff were friendly, the food was good and the room was really comfortable and spacious. The location is great as there are walks starting in Glenridding meaning you haven't got to drive anywhere and it was a quieter area. My only grumble is that it would have been nice to use the bath but it was so grubby and I didn't fancy laying in the tub.'

'Idyllic village pub with beautiful scenic views. Would highly recommend this place as there is plenty of walking trails on your doorstep. This place has a lovely traditional pub layout, fantastic food with plenty of choice, all staff super friendly and the rooms were on point. WiFi great throughout the property. Our room rate included breakfast, a lovely adequate selection which included self help items and order of the menu for hot. We will be definitely staying again when visiting the northern...

'Excellent dog-friendly hotel with superb personnel who connect with the guests. Great location in borrowdale.'

'Mooie omgeving en daarna heerlijk gezwommen in mooi zwembad met stoombad.'

'Een zeer charmant hotel in typische UK-stijl. Alles was top! '

'Great location for pubs and restaurants. House was spotless from top to bottom. Nice touches in the room with homemade cake and chocolate bars to have with your tea/coffee.'

'Lovely clean room. Friendly, helpful staff. Great breakfasts. Lovely food in restaurant. No TV service due to recent storms. This was not the fault of the hotel and they did provide a working TV in the comfortable lounge. Overall, a great 4 night stay. We will return.'

'Erg mooi hotel, heerlijk gegeten en erg vriendelijk personeel.'

'An amazing location and room. Great breakfast and convenient to walkable and drivable Lake District attractions.'

'The room was small but very well maintained and clean. The breakfast you could not fault, although you had to give your choice on the night before which personally not in favour of. The staff were very attentive, pleasant and efficient. The situation in the middle of the village ideal and parking on site, excellent. No dogs allowed on site which I am in favour of.'
