'Very unfriendly service at the main desk, since I had a lot of luggage I had requested a first floor room close to the parking, I got a second floor room at the end of the corridor, the unfriendly lady at the desk told me that it was because I booked through hotels.com, and not through their site. If I had complaints I should turn to hotels.com. So if you like to book through hotels.com choose another hotel and avoid this one.'

'I was impressed both by the cleanliness and the personality of this motel. It's not your normal cooky cutter hotel that all look alike on the inside. It has a throwback charm to it that is very unique. It could use a bit of paint touch up in a couple of corners and there were a few very minor chips in the furniture that just added to the charm. We were visiting town for Risefest in Sheldon and found LeMars to be a beautiful place to stay overnight - that coincidentally had their own Ice Cream Festival going on the same weekend. Lovely grounds, extremely spacious rooms and service you'd expect from a luxury hotel. We will definitely stay here again!'
