Some cabins make you feel tucked away. Mash Ridge makes you feel like you found something.

Perched at the edge of the tree line with open meadow views on one side and deep woods on the other, it's the kind of setting that hits differently depending on the time of day. Morning light across the meadow. Fire glow against the trees at night. The covered deck and hot tub sit right in the middle of all of it.

Inside, the limewash walls give the studio a warmth that's hard to explain until you're standing in it. Everything is open - king bed, kitchen, living - but the finishes make it feel finished, not minimal. This is a cabin where the details got attention.

- A note on the property -

Mash Ridge is one of five private cabins on a shared 10-acre wooded property - each with its own entrance, amenities, and completely private feel. You won't see or hear your neighbors. But if you're traveling with a larger group, the full property sleeps up to 14 guests across all five cabins. Ask us about availability for the full property.

- Dog friendly -

Bring up to 2 well-behaved dogs ($50 per dog fee). Please keep pets off furniture, wipe paws at the door, and clean up after them.

We're Pat & Chelsea, the husband and wife team behind Hocking Cabin Co. (formerly The Retreats Hocking Hills). We started this to provide for our young family and build something worth passing down. Every cabin is personally cared for, thoughtfully designed, and rooted in the belief that hospitality should feel human. We're not a corporate management company, and our properties don't feel that way.
