'It was fine. 5th floor water pressure is WEAK. TV had cable…always nice to have a streaming option with kids especially (which it didn’t have). Bathroom layout was odd - sink was in room which is / can be normal, but the toilet/shower room was in opposite corner with swing out door (into room) because it was sooo small. Be prepared to hit your elbows / head on things when you try to take a shower. Very clean and well taken care of. Here’s a “tip” for O.S.: Have a QR code somewhere to tip...

'Front desk staff, especially Bailey , was very helpful and made me stay confortable. The breakfast is pretty standard but lots of options and well staffed. Convenient for work at Sacred Heart hospital.'

'Voor de prijs een prima locatie en schone kamers. Bed en badkamer waren prima. We hebben er geen ontbijt gegeten. Ik betaalde iets extra voor uitzicht op de rivier, maar dat geld had ik me kunnen besparen. Van uitzicht was geen sprake. Verder is het gebouw erg gehorig. Om 1u 's nachts hoor de mensen boven je heen en weer lopen. Dus dat hield me wakker. '

'Staying here is like stepping back in time to a more elegant and refined era. The house is filled with antiques and has been decorated with great taste. It has a wonderful sitting area downstairs, and the bedrooms are whimsical and delightful. The breakfasts far exceeded my expectations. Maybe best thing of all is the proprietor, Holland. She is warm, engaging and thoroughly charming. My wife and I hope to have reasons to visit Spokane, again, soon, so we can stay here, again. '

'The Montvale was very pleasant! The rooms were clean and quiet. The staff was helpful, and everything needed to be comfortable was provided. The complimentary breakfast at a nearby diner was a nice touch. '

'Great service, friendly staff, convenient restaurant which made me a superb sandwich and serves Starbucks coffee. The room was very clean and quiet and I slept great in the bed. I'd stay here again without question. Just outside was the river trail with great river scenery, and a quarter mile or so to Riverfront Park and downtown. Also, the parking was generous and well lit.'

'Nice hotel. Comfortable bed and good rooms. For this price point I would expect breakfast to be included but instead there are hidden costs like a parking fee and an 'Amenity Fee'. The latter is really hidden and compulsory. For a whopping $20/day one gets things that should be included for free, like a bottle of water and coffee in the room. Also access to the swimming pool and wellness are included but if you're not going to use them the hotel still expects you to pay for it. Very unfair and...

'We went to a concert at the Knitting Factory and this hotel was walking distance to the venue and also the restaurant we met friends at before the show. Comfy beds, friendly staff, and yummy breakfast too!'

'Checked in on Sat May 16. Our 1st room toilet wouldn't flush. Took the top off & the latch inside kept coming off everytime you'd try to flush. Went to call the front desk, phone was unplugged. Then the buttons didn't work for front desk. Went down to ask for another room. 2nd room was same style room but the shower tub paint was literally peeling completely off as we were looking at it. Phone worked this time, called for a new room. They said all they have in the same style is accessibility...

'Street parking was really easy to find. Staff was very nice. It’s always nice to have access to a full gym and pool. We stay here every time we come to Spokane. A nice stay without a crazy price tag. Can’t wait to come back!'

'Great vouchers for drinks and breakfast next door. Quiet room. Seemed clean but rooms are very used and in desperate need of a remodel'
