Very Nice!
This is a very clean and quiet home. The fenced in yard was great for our little dog Max. Close to town if you feel the need. The owner was very nice and responsive. We came to see Loretta Lynn's ranch which is a short drive away and had a late breakfast at Carol's Restaurant in Waverly. We enjoyed our stay immensely, thank you!

Myself and family stayed at this wonderful little spot for one week. Karin was very quick to respond to any questions that I had before we arrived.. It had everything we needed in the kitchen, a washer and dryer, as well as internet for a few work things that I had to do. I would stay here again!

Seeing my son
My son lives in Waverly Tenn. He had to come home for a memorial service, so I took off work to take him back home. We had a great few nights in the house!! It was very clean!! Every thing you needed and most of all I could’ve brought my dog!! Next time I will!! Karin was great….very glad I found this place!!!

Wedding weekend
Karin is super sweet. This little place was perfect for my wedding weekend. My sister and another bridesmaid stayed with me the night before as well as my dog. New hubby and I had it for a few more nights after and it was just perfect. Secluded, clean, quiet, etc. just perfect!

We were in town for our son's wedding nearby at The Ruskin. This was the perfect place for us to enjoy some family time between all of the wedding activities. The home is beautiful and accurately listed. We loved the back porch and the huge master bathroom was so helpful as we were getting ready.

Super nice!
The house was perfect for our family of four. Both teens had their own room, which was a huge plus. The house was spotless. We loved being able to cook our own meals. So much better than spending several days in a cramped hotel room! Also, the congregation at the McEwen church of Christ was so welcoming. They will forever hold a special place in our hearts.

Excellent place to stay
We rented this property for our revival speakers at our church and their kids. They absolutely loved it! They homeschooled during the day, so it gave them plenty of room to move, relax, and do the things they needed to do. They told us they would stay there again if they just needed some time to get away. They loved it! The check in/out process was very easy and the host was a delight. We will definitely be using this rental again for all of our church guests needs!

Clean, Quiet, Restful, Restorative
My best friend and I were looking for a way to get away from all the distractions of normal life so we could focus on finishing her wedding dress. I am from the Dickson TN area, and thought I would take a chance on this place in McEwen. I could not have been more pleased. The owner was sweet and thoughtful about all of the things a person might need while away from home, really thorough when talking about local grocery stores, things to do, and restaurants. We cooked all of our meals and, and there was nothing that we needed that wasn't there. We're talking about coming back again because we loved how quiet and low-key it was. Thank you so much for letting us come and get away from it all!

Stress from wedding but none from here
We only had the listing to decide if this property would be adequate for ourselves and others in our family for the wedding of our daughter at a nearby venue. Skycapps and Karin put the word 'adequate' to shame. The location, the home were beautiful, warm, inviting, peaceful, perfect. Karin was a perfect host to go with the flow of our changes on who would be staying, adding the possibility of an overnight stay for our grand-dog, last minute adding of my MIL, making the directions and lock information easy enough for my husband to do without me!! The wedding is over, the stress level has plummeted to normal, and we had to leave that little bit of Heaven that was a haven of rest. I truly hope we can come back and just enjoy the area sometime in the future.

In October, the floor is COLD! LoL. Having re-relocating back to Florida, I had forgotten how cold the floors get. I was seriously hopping /running from the bed to the rugs in the bathroom.

Quiet location with no neighbor other then the rental lady who is super sweet. Love getting to roam the woods and dry creek bed behind the property. Beds are very comfortable and with a front and back porch, it's all relaxation. Already looking into next trip and plan on booking here again.

The property was clean and the description accurate. Everything functioned as described. One thing, though - there needs to be a door on the master bathroom. If not a door, at least a curtain or something to create some privacy in the bathroom.

Wonderful Stay
This definitely felt like a home away. We were in town for our son’s wedding and with all the rushing and last minute errands coming in at the end of the evening to such a relaxing atmosphere was definitely what was needed. Would definitely stay again if I was in the area.

Peaceful Skycapps
We enjoyed our stay at Skycapps - we like the peaceful country life. It is out a bit, but not too far out. We were in town for a wedding in Dickson, this location is about 30 minutes from the Firefly venue (and only about 15 minutes from Dickson itself). GPS got us there just fine. House was as advertised, with all the comforts of home. Heads-up: there is no door on the master BA (only door is on the master BR)...I typically am up & getting ready before my spouse, so that was sort-of awkward...so thought I would mention that for others. Overall, though, a good place to stay!

This property was great and manager was great help also
This property was just as described and the manager was great at responding and if we needed anything. We brought our small dog on this trip and fenced in front yard was GREAT for her to run around. If we would have stayed longer then we would have used the grill. Lots of extras if needed. And was wonderful the feel of home but like hotel also with hair dryer and shampoo.. Would stay again here in a heartbeat. Thanks

Quiet and peaceful getaway
We loved every minute of our stay here. The location is great, a small quiet town. Beautiful scenery everywhere. The house is very clean, which is so appreciated. The beds were comfortable and the little touches, like soap dispensers, were a pleasant surprise. The owner responds right away, which is so nice. My dogs loved the front yard, my kids loved chasing fireflies every evening. We would definitely come back.

Friends Getaway
This property was a great meeting point for our two families. The location was easy to find. GPS took us right there. The home and yard were very clean and well maintained. We had children with us so the fenced front yard provided a great spot for the little ones to play without worry. The large TV was great for movie night. We rented this home since it was close to a wedding venue we were going to. My family truly enjoyed our stay! It was so clean and peaceful. We definitely enjoyed sitting on deck in the evenings playing cards and dominos (both of which were provided in the house). One of my sons is stationed in Hawaii and doesn’t make it home as often as we would like. This home allowed us to make home cooked meals and spend time together!! Thank you!

We found exactly what we were looking for and more!
We were looking for something that was nice and quiet. but not too far away from town, and this was perfect for us! Previous trips to Tennessee in our search for a nice place to relocate to have had us staying at various hotels while looking at houses. We would much rather have the room of a house and help the local economy that a large chain hotel. This trip was excellent for us for more than just the house, as the hostess is also an exceptional real estate agent. On our fourth trip to look at houses we rented her place to stay at, and also used her services to help us find a more permanent home! We are still in contact with her as we continue to pick the perfect home from our current home and will be making another trip soon to view prospective properties. We love the map with pins in it showing where all the other renters have come from! Thanks again for a great place to stay!

Family time in Tennessee
i was greatly impressed with the house in McEwen that we stayed in over Memorial weekend ... it was very clean, well stocked with everything we needed. Was there for daughters nursing graduation
This was a great place to stay. Well worth it. And very well taken care of. A little bit of a drive but the countryside was beautiful. Liked seeing all the cows relaxing in the pond down the road. Also wish I had known there was a doggy daycare right down the road for the nights we were gone for several hours and Buster was in his crate. Would definitely stay here again.
