Firefly Hideaway @ Massanutten Very secluded/ No Bunk Beds

Firefly Hideaway @ Massanutten - backs up to the National Forest. This is our newest vacation home in Massanutten and the one we actually use most often for our personal use. There are no bunk beds at this home! Everybody gets their own bed to sleep in at this home.

Master bedroom downstairs with King size bed. Bedroom #2 - Queen, Bedroom #3 - Queen, Bedroom #4 - 4 single beds. The HD TVs have Roku boxes with DirecTVStream for regular channels.

We have a variety of games and toys for kids of all ages, such as Big Outdoor Connect 4, Uno, Phase 10, and assortment of books and action figure sets.

We have a dedicated Retro Atari spot upstairs attached to a dedicated HD TV with Retro Atari game system. We also added a standup Arcade cabinet in the living room in 2024 as well as 2 brand new couches.

The bedrooms come with clean sheets already tucked in for you, and a towel and face cloth for each guest to use. We even have toothbrush holders by the sink. The bathtub and shower have shampoo, conditioner and body wash so you don't need to bring your own. You might want to bring your own pool towel if you plan on visiting the Massanutten Water Park, as they don't supply towels. There is also a bidet in the downstairs bathroom!

TVs in the Living Room, Master Bedroom have DirecTV Stream. The TVs in the Big bedroom and 2 Queen bedroom TVs do not have DirecTV Stream, but do have other TV apps and you are welcome to login with your favorite app.

The dining room table seats 8, and there's a tall chess table that comfortably seats 4 in the living room.

Outside on the front patio is a gas bbq grill, dining table and chairs, and a huge Connect 4 standing game. In the backyard is a fire pit and rack of firewood.

Most of the time you can arrive at the house before the 4pm posted time, unless it's busy, like summertime. If someone is checking out on your check-in day, we'll let you know if you need to wait until 4pm, the same with check-out.

* Sorry, we can not allow animals at this home, no matter how small or well trained because our kids have crazy allergies.

Massanutten is truly a 4 season resort. Massanutten Resort has many great activities available to book online through their website. Massanutten offers skiing, snow and grass tubing, 2 golf courses, an award winning indoor/outdoor water park, mountain biking, ziplining, putt-putt, go-carts, There are also about 30 miles of hiking trails. Most Resort activities are available to our guests for an additional fee and should be booked online before your arrival, through Massanutten Resort's website. Book early as things sell out quickly during Covid.

This home is in a private residential neighborhood and is part of the Massanutten Property Owners Association (MPOA), governed by its rules and regulations. There are rental homes in all MPOA neighborhoods, but people also live here. Your nearby neighbors may be full-time residents, including families with children, retirees, second-home owners and other guests enjoying their retreat.

NOISE
• Quiet hours: 10 PM - 7 AM.
• Keep noise indoors during these hours.
• No excessive noise at any time, as judged by MPOA or its assigned agents.

PARKING
• Keep all tires off the road.
• Don’t block fire hydrants or park in front of another property without written approval from your host.
• Park only in designated areas or overflow lot 4007 Peak Dr., Massanutten, VA 22840
• No buses, campers, or RVs to be parked at homes or on roads. Overflow lot is available with written approval from your host.

OUTDOOR FIRES
• High wildfire risk area!
• No open fires.
• No unattended fires.
• No firepit use during quiet hours (10:00 PM – 7:00 AM).
• Firepits and grills may be restricted during local emergency conditions, check electronic sign at entrance for updates.

ALCOHOL
No open containers on roads or in common areas.

PETS
• No animals allowed at this home.

TRASH
• Do not place trash outside, including screened-in porches, decks or car ports. Trash attracts wildlife, which could endanger you and damage the property.
