'Our weekend getaway at The Lodges Sunset Village was excellent. Loved the quaint atmosphere and cozy cabin. It was a great size for 3. Close shops and eateries near by. Staff was accommodating and prompt. The only suggestion I would give is that when providing the cabin number/addresses to the lake side properties to use cabin5 address for all rooms. 'Private yet minutes to McHenry and Deep Creek Lake State Park. Plenty of space for relaxing and cooking. Only entrance to living area is from the upper deck. Game room is separate entrance on lower level. Deck is a bonus! Great for eating outside or star-gazing in the evenings.'

'This place sets the bar high for any other rental. The owners had the most organized and detailed information binder available and were incredibly responsive and attentive. The property was perfect for me, my 2 adult children and dog. All of the little touches (basic condiments, k cups, some toiletries and paper products) were the perfect finishing touches on an already cozy and beautiful place. A fully stocked kitchen made cooking a breeze and the cleanliness of the home was second to none!! ...
