Stephanie,Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We're so glad that you found your flat to be well decorated, clean and comfortable! We're really sorry about the slow draining sink. We appreciate you bringing that to our attention and have informed our maintenance team so they can fix it. The homeless issue is so unfortunate and (much like so many other cities now) we struggle as a community to find a sustainable solution. We do have a volunteer task force in place and a specific company protocol to inform officials when law enforcement needs to get involved. The police station is right downtown so respond very quickly. The people that you are describing are known by locals and have never posed a physical threat, but we absolutely understand how uncomfortable it makes visitors feel to witness this erratic behavior. We hope to collectively craft a long term plan to get people off the streets. We're really sorry to hear how noisy it was during your stay with us. Unfortunately, like most US cities, we are dealing with homelessness in McMinnville. I assure you we do have significant concern over the issue and are working closely with local law enforcement, a community task force dedicated to this issue, and the Downtown Association, to keep our locals and visitors safe. We are also installing new, more soundproof windows in that building. There is a public lot designated for free urban street parking right across the street from the entrance to the our self-service flats. The parking downtown is almost exclusively city owned and though it is safe, it's not gated. We sincerely hope you are able to revisit our sweet little town and have a more positive experience. Please reach out if/when you come back and we will happily help guide you in that direction.
