In our previous experience with Hilton hotels, we encountered several significant issues that significantly impacted our stay. Despite requesting room service, we were not provided with a clean room during our week-long stay. Although we had been informed that our room would be cleaned at 9:30 AM the following morning, we made the decision to leave the hotel for four hours. Upon our return, we discovered that the room had not been cleaned. Again I had to flag someone down for towels.
Additionally, we encountered an incident where a note was left on our door indicating that the room could not be cleaned due to the presence of a “Do Not Disturb” sign. This was particularly concerning because we had recently visited Orlando and had never had this sign displayed on our door.
The hotel’s breakfast offerings were also disappointing. On one occasion, we arrived breakfast at 9:30 AM, only to find a limited selection of muffins, hard-boiled eggs, and toast.
In contrast, our subsequent stay at the Abbott hotel was a remarkable improvement. The Abbott hotel provided a superior experience compared to the Hilton hotel.
Despite the hotel’s convenient location, we have decided to refrain from booking a stay at Hilton hotels in the future. Furthermore, we encountered a frustrating situation when attempting to communicate with the hotel’s service department via text message.
