Het appartement is gelegen in het centrum van Mellieha, in de buurt van alle restaurants en toeristische attracties met een prachtig uitzicht op de baai van Mellieha en Gozo vanaf het terras. Het is slechts een paar minuten van het strand en slechts 100 meter lopen naar de bushalte. Het uitzicht vanaf het terras met uitzicht op de vallei maakt dit een unieke plek om een ontspannen vakantie door te brengen op enkele minuten van het strand en toch dicht bij alle voorzieningen.

Fijn appartement

Het appartement was ruim en schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien. Wat nog wel fijn zou zijn is als er iets van een parasol of zonwering zou zijn. Want het is erg heet op het balkon. De ligging is bij winkels en restaurant. Het appartement ligt niet een paar minuten van het strand. Het is ruim 30 minuten lopen, bergafwaarts en als je dus weer terug gaat moet je de berg op. Deze informatie klopt dus niet met wat er in de omschrijving staat.

Perfect Location

The apartment is in the perfect location to explore the north of Malta. Most beaches are 10-15 mins away. The town itself has lots of character and some lovely places to dine in. The apartment has everything you need including excellent AC which was a life saver!

Fabulous apt. with wonderful hosts!

Two friends and I just stayed in this apartment. Wonderful place! The apartment is clean and spacious and the view is beautiful. The amenities are great! There is easy access to just about everything. The neighbors are super friendly and pleasant folks, who are always willing to help with everything. The hosts are extremely attentive. They responded to nearly every message within a matter of minutes. We had an issue one night with the front door lock and the hosts came by to assist within 10-15 mins. Excellent hosts! The hosts were also very accommodating. They allowed us to check in early and did not require much in terms of check out. Very easy to work with! If I ever travel back to this town, I will stay in this apartment again. A+ all around. The only issue was the lock on the front door, which sticks a little. But, as soon as you learn the trick, you can get in and out without much hassle. The host came by personally to show us when we had an issue one evening. Very good people! And, you likely will not find better apartment around. I stay in a lot of VRBOs and this one was definitely one of the best!

Grandioser Blick, viel Platz

Das großzügige Apartment liegt relativ ruhig und dennoch zentral. Gewöhnungsbedürftig ist nur die Installation der Wasser/Abwasserrohre des Objekts: an der Außenwand des Innenhofes, was eine gewisse Geräuschkulisse bedeutet, wenn man bei offenem Femster schlafen möchte. Der Balkon ist groß genug zum Essen für 4 Personen und gewährt einen tollen Blick.

Sehr schöne große Wohnung

Der Kontakt mit Marisa vor der Anreise war schon super. Auch der Transfer von Mario hat hervorragend geklappt und war mit 25€ OK. Die Wohnung selbst ist riesig und die Beschreibung hat hundert prozentig gestimmt. Der Ausblick vom Balkon ist tatsächlich so traumhaft! Alles in allem echt super!

Great Stay in a Small Town in Northern Malta

Both the property and town of Mellieha are fantastic. The VRBO is modern and clean with all the necessary amenities. The view from the balcony is super looking across at the church and down to Mellieha Bay and Comino Island. The rental location is close to everything you need for your stay: grocery, restaurants, bus stop and easy access to Gozo/Comino ferries and Paradise Bay, our favorite beach (take bus 101 direct). And owners Mario and Marisa couldn't be nicer. Five stars for sure. Mario picked us up at the airport which was a nice way to be introduced to Malta. He also took us back to the airport for an early morning flight (be sure to allocate extra time due to island commuter traffic). If you are into history, be sure to sign up early for the Hypogeum tour. Well worth it. Also explore Valletta and take in the view from the upper garder overlooking the harbor. Amazing. Don't miss Mdina. Such a cool place and fun to explore and photograph. You probably don't need to do the City Sightseeing Jump On/Jump Off. If you do, we recommend that you take a local bus to where Tours 1/Tours 2 intersect and then take Tour 2. Be sure to take the Comino Ferry to Blue Lagoon and Comino Island. For 13 Euros you visit Blue Lagoon and then ride over to Gozo. On Gozo go up the hill to Victoria, another great historic part of Malta. If you take the bus up, be sure to take the direct route and not the one that meanders all over the island. One was 45 minutes; the other only 13. You can then ride the Gozo Channel back to Malta for 5 Euros. So many great restaurants right out the door from the unit. Be sure to grab a beer, chicken salad and/or pizza and Greystone. Al Ponte at the Maritim Hotel had nice food and music in the lounge Tues/Saturdays. Be sure to try Ix-Xatba and have the rabbit. As for beaches, our favorite by far was Paradise Bay. Take about 20 minutes to get to but worth it. Not crowded with great beach and all the amenities. Note the the fish like to nibble on your feet in the water. If you are an adventurer, grab a week long bus pass and explore the island via the various routes. Most of the time you'll arrive on time. Every once in awhile a bus doesn't come or stop but that adds to the experience. Malta and thei VRBO are both worth the stay. Jim and Marianne in Santa Fe, NM (USA)

A little piece of heaven in the heart of Mellieha

An absolutely amazing trip at Mario and Marisa's sea view apartment. they were the most gracious hosts going above and beyond what I could have ever expected, including meeting us at the airport and getting us back on time. A perfect location for visiting the other islands or spending some time at the beautiful beaches. We fell in love with Malta and look forward to visiting again. I would highly recommend this apartment.

Je conseille vivement cette location,très bel appartement de standing,neuf et très propre,très spacieux et moderne avec tout le confort nécessaire. Magnifique vue de la terrasse ! c'est vraiment parfait ! de plus, nous sommes arrivés très tard de l'aéroport vers 1 heure du matin,Mario nous attendait très souriant et très sympathique.Nous avons eu une très belle attention,Mario avait fait quelques courses afin que nous puissions prendre le petit déjeuner le lendemain matin.

Awesome place with beautiful view

The apartment is perfectly located at the center of the town, very close to several restaurants and bars. Għadira Bay beach is one of the best in Malta and easily accessible by bus or even on foot if you like walking a bit. Bus station is really close with all the major lines. The apartment is clean and very spacious with a stunning view on the town and the bay. It looks like exactly as shown on the photos. The hosts are really helpful.

Apartment was spotlessly clean and very spacious. Balcony was great with good views. Well situated for all restaurants and bars. We cooked in a couple of nights and there was no problem with the kitchen facilities. Our flight home was not until 7 p.m. but Mario and Marisa allowed us to stay until 4 p.m. I know they will not be able to do that all the time but it was very much appreciated. Mario picked us up from the airport and took us back and he was very friendly. I would have no hesitation in recommending this apartment to anyone.
