'I had a wonderful five night stay here. The location is convenient but in a quiet area. Parking is included and an easy walk down a block and around the corner. I parked my car and never moved it. Everything is very clean and tidy. The staff is very helpful with all arrangements. The guests were all lovely and shared some good ideas about things to do and see. The real reason to stay here I think is the breakfasts! Lots of healthy creative flair! If you’re a foodie this may be the place...

'Room and a hotel was very neat. Excellent location and veiw. Staff went above and beyond. Only complaint is lack of typical hotel amenities like ice machines and vending machines. Parking was inconvenient but location makes up for it.'

'The staff goes out if their way to make sure you have everything you need for an exceptional stay. Rooms are extremely well maintained and breakfast is excellent. The location is in an ideal location close enough to walk to to all the shops and restaurants.We will be booking our winter stay there soon.'

'Dit hotel ligt prachtig gelegen tegen het centrum aan met mooi uitzicht over de baai. Kamers zijn wat klein maar van alle gemakken voorzien en schoon. Parkeren voor de deur en een mogelijkheid om overdekt voor de lamer te zitten met prachtig uitzicht. Daarnaast is er een zwembad aanwezig. Er wordt ontbijt aangeboden maar dat stelt helaas heel weinig voor. Al met al een goede plek om te overnachten voor een paar dagen en te genieten van st. Augustine. '

'This hotel is just outside st Augustine. Rooms are spacious, clean and the balconies are a nice touch. Pool is on the small side, but the beach is a 2 minute walk away. Breakfast is good, service is excellent. Just across the parking lot there is a Publix, which is convenient.'

'Erg fijn verblijf gehad hier, Rich (manager) is heel gastvrij en ontzettend vriendelijk. Je loopt overal zo heen en het stadje is echt wat anders. Wij verbleven op de attic met onze dochter. Dat gaat prima maar de kamer is vrij vol met meubels en met koffers en alles is het wel erg vol dan... dat is prima voor een dag of zo. het ontbijt is heerlijk en met liefde klaargemaakt. '

'Charm and location. The room we stayed in was truly like being home (we live in an 1892 Victorian) and we instantly fell in love with the decor. Unlike the "brand name" lodgings that we've become accustomed to The Powder House was the antithesis of the sterile institutional cookie cutter banality. The "staff" was charming, beyond hospitable, and very proud of the quality of the experience created for the quests. One comes to St. Augustine because of the history and a desire to go back in time...

'It is a beautiful hotel with very comfy bed. The food at their restaurant is excellent. Walk is about 1-2 blocks to historic downtown. The only complaint is it can be noisy.'

'The room was very light and bright. So inviting and comfortable. Bed extremely comfortable! I love that each room is a ocean view. The breakfast was fantastic, so fresh and yummy it was a really nice bonus to have that provided. I also loved having access to beach towels, chairs and umbrellas. I will be back we had an amazing time and it's a great quiet location!'
