'The lady that greeted us was lovely and she then told us where our room was. We hoped to eat in the hotel but was told that the chef had called in unable to cook. I tried to find out if we could get breakfast next morning but nobody came back to us. 'Great location'

'Once I got my head past the idea that ‘this is not a Marriott’ I came to realize this is a great hotel. Room was comfortable. I was able to park right outside the hotel front door every night. Breakfast was good. The bar area is well presented with a good mix of locals and tourists to talk to. Room attended to daily. The local town is very pleasant. Some great coffee shops and pubs.'

'Breakfast was excellent Staff attentive Room small and noisy- great shower'

'De kamer zag er netjes uit en we hebben heerlijk geslapen'

'Excellent all round. Would definitely recommend'

'Goed hotel prima eten makkelijk parkeren'

'Mooie kamer maar niemand gezien van personeel of wat dan ook. Comfortabel maar vrij onpersoonlijk. Verder gewoon goed hoor, niks op aan te merken. Logging in fantastisch'

'The Castle House is very conveniently located and reasonably priced. Our room was gorgeous, including a wonderful tub for a relaxing bath and a huge, comfortable, fancy bed. Breakfast was delicious and packed lunches were available for us C2C hikers. Our only small gripe was that the hosts were not available in the evening to help us with laundry, but I would still recommend staying here!'
