Staff was friendly. We requested an early check in as we were on the road earlier and a $20 early check in fee was advised; however, they did have the room ready for us.
The room was adequate for our stay (5 days/4 nights), we were in town for a baseball tournament that was at the USA baseball fields down the street. It was helpful to have the kitchen so we could cook meals ourselves. The sink disposal was not working, so we had to wash dishes on one side of the sink. Fridge, stove and microwave worked just fine. Counters were clean, but I believe because of the material, was still sticky to the touch.
Floors had some salt and gravel, so wasn't swept up well, but sheets and bathroom were clean. Some water/rust stains on the bathtub. Enough towels for our stay. After first use, our shower water did not shut off completely and dripped the rest of the time no matter how tightly we shut off the shower knob.
Next door room had quite a few visitors and knocks at their door every evening during our stay. Not exactly sure if they were extended stay/living at the hotel. For the most part it was quiet, but could hear people walking outside and not entirely sound proof.
Room definitely needs updates, but it was a place to sleep, shower and make meals.
