'GPS directed us to the property. Convenient parking. Cabin is old, as described. Everything clean and in working condition. Way more space than we needed. We had the windows open for lake breezes during the day and kicked on the heat to take the chill out of the cabin in the morning. Kitchen was stocked for preparing meals. Groundskeepers are friendly and attentive. Waking to loon calls beats city noises! We will check here for availability in the future. '

'I read the reviews and was a little worried about the snakes that a past renter mentioned. We are very happy to report that we did not find any snakes at this location inside or out. Our grandchildren enjoyed the stay which included being outside and catching a lot of fish. The only issue we had were that the beds were not very firm. Our grandchildren asked when we were going to come back. We do plan on visiting in the future. Thank you for letting us stay at your cabin.'

'We found our stay at Wisconsin Hideaway to be exactly what we needed. The house is clean with a mostly secluded backyard. We had one hiccup at check-in mostly due to my error. Both the owner and host were kind and prompt in response to questions or concerns. If you don't need/want to be on a lake, this is a great location!'

'Still like brand new! Not having cell service I couldn't ask questions if there was wifi availability. It would be nice to have something there for reference, we did figure everything else out. Beds not the most comfortable. The address listed did not get us there using Google map, I searched Gooch's bar and found the property. Bar is very good! Really liked the quietness around us!'

'Great overall. Cabin was clean and cozy but a little heavy with furniture to navigate around. No toliet so thank gooodness I packed some and left a couple rola for the next guests. I’m convinced the giant tadpoles ate all the fish…not even a nibble. The hill going up to the cabin can be tough for someone with health issues. 'My fiance and I have been making visits to White Sand Lake for several years and this has to be the best property we have found yet. The hosts were very commutative and easy to reach, and were very accommodating. We had a lovely stay and will definitely try booking this property again!'
