'the bathroom smelled like the pipes to the sewer were not right. the smell was there when i checked in and never went away. they don’t clean corners so there nice rooms are going to age quickly.'

'Excellent breakfast!'

'Zeer vriendelijk personeel'

'Exceptionally clean and beautifully decorated throughout. Adjustable heating and lighting very comfortable bed and quiet area. Nice to have a fridge and a microwave in the room too.'

'Staff very friendly and helpful, and bar and restaurant area pleasant, cozy and welcoming. The rooms are pretty basic and could do with some minor maintenance, but are clean and tidy, and good value for money. A good choice of breakfast items, and we had two evening meals which were great. Our waiter Sam was especially friendly and helpful. There is plenty of free parking'

'Jammer geen restaurant door bank holiday.'

'Nostalgisch verblijf met zeer vriendelijk ontvangst. Voldoende variatie in keuzemenu ontbijt. Gezellige pub met op zaterdag live muziek. Voldoende parkeerplaats. '

'Very nice apartment, very big with ample facilities. Just a little more cleaning to sofa covers and mattress cover in sofa would have made it better as ours were dirty. Restaurant was amazing and great for gluten free and bar was lovely too. Overall very comfortable stay'

'Very dated place'

'We only need a place to sleep en shower, but than it should be pleasant en clean. This hotel offers that very well. Good beds, clean bathroom, all the basic requirements including wifi. The staff is friendly, the included breakfast sufficient (full english if you want), the facilities are modern and bright. It is next to restaurants and fitness club and easily accessible by main roads. For one night of a whole week, this place is good to stay.'

'Great stay in a great location.'

Ruime ontbijtkeuze.'

'Bathroom smelled really really bad, like there were drainage problems and the fire alarm triggered in my room at 5:40 for no reason waking everyone in the block - pub is fantastic though!'

'Absolutely awful stay, although it must have been a great hotel to stay 20 years ago. It’s nothing like that anymore and nothing like that. Rooms are enormously old, reception is unfriendly and not showing that they don’t want to work there. Extra: I have received a parking fine even though I submitted my car registration number. After multiple times of contacting the hotel. Promising cancellations of the fine, nothing has been done.'

'The accommodation, though clean, is very tired. The leatherette headboard was worn and needed replacing. The television reception was poor with no signal at times. The bathroom suite was old with mildew around the bath. The restaurant and bar were comfortable and traditional. The staff were friendly and helpful and there was no problem changing the chicken curry brought to the table for the vegetarian one I actually ordered! The new menu is not an improvement and we wouldn't eat in again. I...

'Plenty of parking, easy to check in and very courteous staff.'
