'You pretty much get what you pay for. £4.50 to park overnight isn’t right in my opinion. Service and staff excellent Food average Rooms are clean very basic and drab really needs a make over.carpets worn bedding cheap quality. Breakfast was poor with poor quality ingredients. Seems like I’m slating this hotel I’m not I’m being honest..I’m not complaining as £80 with breakfast you can’t really complain.To lay your head it’s good because the cleanliness and staff are excellent '

'Simply superb, beautiful house lovely spacious rooms and an excellent cooked to order breakfast. Charming host and staff. Cannot be faulted and.....staggering distance from 2 pubs, one gastro - great food - the other a good local with decent ale (when you get them to pour it the proper way and not as Northern idiots want it, like keg).'

'Erg leuk hotel voor wanneer je vanaf Manchester vliegt. Kamers zijn mooi ingericht en er bevindt zich een erg leuke pub naast het hotel (waarschijnlijk zelfde eigenaar).'

'We stayed here for the weekend whilst visiting Manchester for a concert. I was very impressed, they had 2 weddings receptions during our stay and we heard nothing! The room was clean, spacious twin beds, teapigs tbags and bottled water. Staff were friendly, a great stay.'

'I had at this modern detached bungalow. The accommodation was clean tidy, and had everything you needed for a relaxing stay. There is a lovely village a short walk away, and there is lots to do in the surrounding area. '

'This place is quaint but not super welcoming. The cottage was cute but not the comfiest beds. We didn’t get a code to check in and didn’t realise the reception would be unmanned. The continental breakfast was a bit odd - self service without clear instructions. Wasn’t all put out at 8am and then a girl came and brought some more things. Had to make our own coffee. '
