'The room was clean and comfortable even if the furniture was dated. The staff was friendly and we enjoyed the complimentary coffee and hot chocolate in the lobby area. The inn is located in a quiet area on the Wilson lake. It would be lovely in the summer to take advantage of the lake. In the winter it is still beautiful to walk out on the lake. 'Everything about The Hostel of Maine impressed me. The location was perfect, free shuttles to local restaurants and ski resort. Great customer service! Beautiful place! I expected to go just once. I just left and I already want to go back. Definitely a 10 out of 10!'

We loved the main and second floor common areas with fire places. They also had great space for board games( they provided tons!) dog friendly, but quiet and peaceful. Such great value!'
