verblijf dicht bij ruïne en Choco Museum
Typische Hacienda met mooie tuin en zwemdok. De kamers zijn net en in een authentieke stijl. Voor wie de ruïnes van Uxmal en de eco tuinen en het Choco Story museum wil bezoeken ideaal. De restauratie vonden wij maar minder, vergeleken met de betaalde prijzen bij de andere hotels waar we verbleven, waren deze te duur. Op 10 km in Santa Elena is een goed restaurant de Pickled Onion, de 1/2 van de prijs en heel lekker.

Prachtig hotel vlakbij ingang Uxmal
Hotel Haciënda Uxmal refereert aan de hacienda waar de ontdekkers van deze ruïnestad overnachtten. Het hotel is gebouwd in koloniale stijl met oog voor detail en onderhoud . Het verblijf was een belevenis. Uitstekende service met een receptionist die tegelijkertijd een prima gastheer bleek.

The property is very beautiful, so no complaints there. However, the WiFi never worked and the room had a TV with only two channels and both had some much noise that they were impossible to watch. Due to the limited dining choices on the property (they only serve breakfast from 7-10 am), we had to eat once across the highway at a very overpriced location. If you have a car, I would recommend driving to Santa Elena or Ticul to find dining options.

Excellent location across from Uxmal ruins. Very interesting history of the Hacienda as well, including famous people such as Queen Elizabeth who stayed there! Breakfast was delicious and pool cocktails were also great. Grounds are beautiful and filled with colorful birds. Staff was accommodating. Don't expect uber modern luxury.

Quiet and safe place, located very close the Uxmal ruins. Very nice old Hacienda, with lovely gardens and surrounded by nature. Our room had a fantastic view of the adjacent green areas. Bathroom with tub was in excellent condition. Be aware that dinner and lunch are held in the restaurant that is slightly farther from hotel, near the entrance to Uxmal; you'll will need to drive but it's no big deal. Also, pool is not heated. Overall, great experience. We will definitely go back.

On s'attendait à avoir des possibilités de réservation pour des visites de sites archéologiques avoisinants. L'hôtel était vide. Nous avons été upgradés et déménagés dans leur deuxième hôtel plus luxueux. Aucune possibilité de réservation sur place pour visiter d'autres sites que Uxmal. Tout doit s'organiser à partir de Merida. Aucun taxi disponible sur place pour visiter les alentours. Pour nous accommoder l'hôtel a dû faire venir un taxi de Mérida pour que nous puissions poursuivre notre voyage. Cependant, tout le reste était impeccable. Comme il n'y a que le restaurant de l'hôtel le soir et qu'il n'y a pas de compétition, les prix des repas et consommations sont élevés mais de bonne qualité.

Hacienda extraordinaire
Cette hacienda est tout simplement extraordinaire, un séjour parfait dans cet hôtel typique Mexicain. Le personnel adorable fait tout pour vous aider et répondre à tous vos besoins. Très belle et grande chambre, excellente literie, très propre je recommande. À 5 minutes à pieds des pyramides !!

Franchement assez déçu de l hôtel qui est sur côté…en dehors de la piscine qui est très agréable et du bâtiment beau le reste est décevant …en particulier la plomberie et la restauration de l hôtel (pas bon et hors de prix mais rien d autres dans le coin) sans parler de la salle de sport inexistante

Weekend Retreat
Super relaxing weekend getaway from Merida. Rooms really nice, lots of outdoor seating. Pool was great. Not many dining options around. Breakfast at hotel was quite good. Will definitely come stay again.

Lugar para estar con contacto con la naturaleza y agradable atmósfera. Es nuestra cuarta visita y tristemente puede sea la ultima. Lo Bueno: Tiene una atmósfera muy bonita llena de detalles antiguos y en contacto con la naturaleza. El servicio del personal cálido y siempre atentos. Lo malo: Solo hay servicio de desayuno (no cuentan con silla de niños) posterior a este no hay ni un tipo de comida o cena, solo bebidas, si quieres comer o cenar tendrás que ir al restaurante del otro hotel a 400 metros (5 minutos de caminata ) para poder comer y cenar y tristemente tiene muy mala calificación y muy altos precios. La regadera del hotel, extremadamente vieja, requieren mantenimiento y en este caso cambio.

Advertised wifi but it was barely good enough for email. Service dropped every 30 seconds regardless of which router on the property you sat next too. No bicycles as advertised. Restaurant is only open for breakfast. You have to cross a dangerous road in the dark to get to the only restaurant that's open at the resort by the ruins. Property itself is beautiful and the pool is very nice. We left a day early because without wifi I couldn't work and my wife couldn't study. Property told us they'd give a refund for the 2nd night but have only gotten a run around from them and Expedia who each blame the other but neither will call the other and leave me as the middle man between what he said and what she said. Would not stay there again.

Our last stay was early 2020 before the pandemic. Now it's minimalist There is no lunch or dinner service There is only breakfast service by the pool There is no lunch or dinner available requiring you to walk or drive across the highway or down the road No welcome drink, as advertised If television is important, forget it. Only 3 snowy channels with an antenna, not satellite, as advertised Some rooms have a safe, others do not, so you may want to check/specify when booking The staff is friendly and attentive.

Está justo enfrente de la zona arqueológica de Uxmal y junto a la fábrica de chocolate. Es un poco molesto el ruido de la carretera, sobre todo en la noche, cuando los camiones pasan frenando con motor. Las habitaciones bien, pero con áreas de oportunidad. No hay restaurante ahí excepto para el desayuno. No hay mucha variedad de comida en los alrededores inmediatos.

El lugar está en un lugar maravilloso, el personal es excelente, pero la ropa de cama es de hotel de 1 estrella, los servicios de A&B son escasos y absurdamente caros, carísimos!!! Lastima, ya lo había escuchado, comprobado es un robo.

El hotel es bonito, pero esta desaprovechado. Un solo restaurant lejos, con muy poca variedad y excesivamente caro. Es un lugar sin vida.

Por las características del entorno, el hotel Hacienda Uxmal es ideal para descansar y propiciar un acercamiento con la naturaleza, la cultura y costumbres locales, más no por ello es un lugar sin vida. Algunas de las actividades disponibles para realizar en el hotel y alrededores son: visitar el sitio arqueológico durante la mañana, recorrer las plantaciones de cítricos y árboles frutales endémicos de la región, visitar el museo del chocolate, paseo a los cenotes, paseo a la ruta Puuc, visitar Uxmal de noche para admirar el espectáculo de luz y sonido. Hay otras opciones para quienes deseen adentrarse un poco más en las comunidades de Yucatán. Esperamos tener el honor de ser nuevamente sus anfitriones. ¡Feliz viaje!
