Bom descanso

O Sr. Nuno, muito prestável, boa comunicação com o proprietário, e sempre com bons conselhos de sítios a visitar. Bons colchões para um bom descanso. O único contratempo da estadia foram as formigas e moscas, mas de resto, um bom local para descansar. Recomendo ainda visita à Praia Fluvial de 5 Reis e prova de vinhos da herdade situada ao lado da propriedade.

Erholung pur

Wir haben Anfang August mit vier Erwachsenen und drei Kindern (13, 11 und 14 Jahre) eine tolle Woche in dem Ferienhaus verbracht. Es war wunderbar. Die Ruhe pur. Wir haben den Pool genossen. Es gibt viele schattige Pätze auf dem Grundstück. Nuno hat immer sehr schnell auf unsere Anfragen reagiert. Das Haus ist sehr geschmackvoll und persönlich eingerichtet. Alles, was wir brauchten, war vorhanden. Zum Einkaufen braucht man rund 25 Min. nach Beja. Im Nachbardorf gibt es allerdings eine Bäckerei. Dort kriegt man leckeres Brot und Kuchen. Wir können das Haus empfehlen. Es haben dort entspannte Tage im Alentejo verbracht. Luis

Monte Típico Alentejano ideal para férias em família e amigos. Os miúdos adoraram até porque por vezes entravam cabrinhas na propriedade o que foi uma experiência nova. Alentejo profundo, um hino ao descanso e eliminação do stress :-)

A green and peaceful oasis to be discovered

We stayed a week in july with 4 adults and 4 kids (from 1,5 to 5 years). The house is perfect to host two families as it's huge and each family can enjoy its own privacy. Thanks again to Nuno and his wife for the warm welcome and for being so responsive when help was needed. The house is nicely decorated and the garden is just heaven with an amazing view (when we left the house my 5 years old even cried because she didn't want to leave the view!). The nearest supermarkets are in Beja which is far but not too far. I would say this is also a positive point as it's all about nature and tranquility. Weather was not too hot even in july as it was always a bit windy. In summary I would definitely recommend that house to anyone willing to discover the region and enjoy nature in portugal.

Perfect tranquil place for the ultimate relaxing holiday

This was our first trip to the Alentejo, and thanks to Nuno and Joana and the beauty of the countryside around Vale de Camelos, we had the most relaxing time. Every bit as lovely as the picture suggest, this is a welcoming, well equipped home with a gorgeous outdoor space and pool. We used the barbecue area most days, and love relaxing by the pool listening to the quiet and occasional distant cow bells and sheep. There are so many gems to discover not too far away by car, and our hosts were amazing at recommending where we should try. Our favourite restaurant (Herdade des Grous) was less than 20 mins away, and you can easily reach the beaches near Porto Cova or Tavira. Both are well worth the visit. Once more, huge thanks to Nuno and Joana who were amazing hosts and we hope to return in the future. We

Tuscany meets Greece and Alentejo in a precious little gem.

Charmy, cozy and delightful. If you value rest, privacy, countryside and you are not willing to give up of all the comfort and in-house amenities, look no further. I am talking about an updated tradicional roomy house, with a very well-thought indoor layout and superb outdoors. You will find a choice of patios, sitting areas and tables, shade and sunny spots that assure that you will find the perfect spot to enjoy the beautiful hills of Alentejo landscape and relax, chat with friends and family or play sports in complete privacy. It is hard to find such rare combination. + Perfect outdoors. Big, well-equipped and comfy kitchen, with beautiful decoration details. Large living room with XL windows and access to the garden. The view by the pool. Attentive owner and staff who will be there if you need to. Privacy. - Noisy outdoor's AC unit. You may find that the odd traditional lock will give you some fight. But who needs locks in Alentejo anyway?

We liked very much of Alentejo... the wonderful night sky, the landscapes, the food and special wine (@Adega Velha, Mourão) and the peace (stop your thoughts for a while and listen to the hot wind)...! And we also liked Horta, the people (and "violet"): the welcome of the family, inhabitants availability, sympathy and humility in the treatment; the swimming pool and the shade of the garden, the beds and pillow comfort, bicycle ridings in sunrise and sunset, the dinners and snacks next to the barbecue. Anyway, "good and recommended, as well as the fish @"Frango à Guia" in Beja. We will come back, soon.

Vale uma bela estadia

Adorámos os dias que passámos no Vale de Camelos, a casa é linda e tem tudo para proporcionar umas belas férias. De dia muitas sombras para aproveitar à volta da piscina, uma vista dourada e sossegada, um alpendre para boas churrascadas. À noite é aproveitar a melhor vista para o céu!
