Log Cabin Vakantiehuis op 62 prive-beboste hectare

De Grand Arbor nodigt je uit om je verbinding met de genezende kracht van de aarde te vernieuwen. Ontsnap in het hart van 62 hectare bosrijk bos. Deze vier slaapkamer, drie en een half bad familie vakantie blokhut huis is de perfecte plek om te rusten en te genieten van de eenvoudige geneugten in het leven. De 2900 vierkante voet cabine werd gebouwd in 2004 en bevindt zich in het zuidoosten van Indiana, minder dan een uur ten westen van Cincinnati of een uur ten oosten van Indianapolis in het gebied Metamora / Brookville. Gunstig gelegen op slechts 10 minuten van Brookville State Park en 5 minuten van het schilderachtige historische stadje Metamora, verwelkomt dit afgelegen uitje u en uw gasten. Sommige van onze recente bezoekers vertellen ons dat de Grand Arbor aanvoelt als een bergchalet vanwege het ruime interieur.

Met grote glazen ramen met uitzicht op een volwassen bos en kreek, is de Grand Arbor gelegen in een vallei op het zuiden. Omringende wandelpaden en een veelvoud aan leuke buitenactiviteiten zijn er in overvloed. Vanwege de schilderachtige en gunstige locatie is de Grand Arbor echt een ideale plek voor weekenduitstapjes, vakanties, familiereünies, bruiloftsrecepties, vrijgezellenfeesten, visreizen, golfreizen en zelfs zakelijke retraites. Er is een speelkamer in de ontspanningsruimte op de begane grond, die nu beschikt over een pooltafel op ware grootte. Dit is zeker een hit voor zowel kinderen als volwassenen.

De jacuzzi in de buitenlucht van Caldera is populair bij gasten. Dit is een geweldige manier om te ontspannen in de warmte van rustgevend water buiten en te genieten van het natuurlijke landschap rondom het huis.

High price for what we experienced

Dishwasher was not installing properly, leaked, and we had to hand wash all dishes. Upstairs shower leaked into main floor bathroom. Garbage pick up and two deliveries of water in the middle of the day on Saturday. Only bery basic cleaning done. Kitchen appliances filthy.

Relaxing Getaway

This cabin never disappoints! We are return visitors, and I loved seeing the upgrades to the furniture in the living room and turning the basement into a bedroom and game room. We have a wonderful time relaxing and laughing all weekend. Thank you for keeping this memory alive for us as a family.

My group stayed here for a nearby event. The interior of the building was great, and accommodated our large group quite well. There were no major issues with the property. The hosts were also extremely helpful and accommodating, going above and beyond for us multiple times leading up to our stay.

We were charged for a broken toilet seat that was already broken and glued back together when we arrived. We were charged for extra cleaning when there was trash under just about every bed when we got there including a bra. There was trash in the back lot that wasn’t even ours that we cleaned up. They even invented a broken chair. Now maybe the chair exists but if so we didn’t use it. They charged us for dog hair on furniture when we paid a pet fee. they charged us for dirty bed sheets when there’s no washer. Overall the property is pretty nice. Too bad the owners are shady.

Secluded Cabin

Very nice cabin secluded back in the woods. Tons of room inside with lots of bedrooms, large living room and game room. Plenty of area outside for activities. Nice fire pit area and hot tub off the deck. Close enough to Brookville if you need supplies but still feels like you’re miles away from civilization! Recommend!

Very quiet and peaceful

Property was very secluded and quiet. We had a group of 11 adults and there was plenty of room. We had a great time together. The water pressure was a little low but wasn't a deal breaker. We stayed clean and comfortable, AC kept us cool! Owners were very quick to respond to any questions or concerns. Very nice people.

We love this cabin!

Our group has stayed here for a week every year since 2019. The owners and property manager are communicative and helpful. The main floor is open concept and perfect for larger groups. It’s a second home to us that is the perfect space for making memories! We cherish our time there.

Annual family gathering - sons, grandkids, brother, and nephews. The cabin is large and spacious. The beds were comfortable and plenty of bathrooms for everyone to use. The kitchen was very well equipped and fire pit area was used every night till after midnight. The town is fairly close and has everything needed. The lake big and with a nice beach area. Already booking next year.

A great secluded spot to relax

There was only five of us so it was plenty big enough with ample beds and bathrooms. The kids were plenty entertained by the game area downstairs and exploring some of the trails outside around the cabin. Hot tub was a fantastic bonus to enjoy outdoors surrounded by all the trees. The one hiccup was very minor and that was just locating the main gate, as it may have been helpful to have a sign or something out by the road. That’s just me being nitpicky though, it is a nice place well away from the main highways.

This was a very nice, peaceful property. My adult kids and their significant others and my in-laws stayed here over the New Year's weekend and loved it. Even though it rained most of the weekend, the kids enjoyed the hot tub. We got to hike around the property and enjoy the peace and quiet. Overall, it was a great stay.

We rented this cabin for our extended family to celebrate Thanksgiving. Our only disappointment was the folding table listed on the site was nowhere to be found. The place was great for the kids and we enjoyed the surrounding wildlife.

Perfect October Wedding

This was the perfect location for our small, intimate October wedding! Although it got chilly pretty quickly this year, we were still able to have a beautiful outdoor ceremony and reception. The inside of the cabin was large enough for everyone to get ready for the big day, and the outdoor space was absolutely perfect for a wedding setup! We held all the festivities on the lawn and even created a dancefloor with lights. And don't even get me started on all the stunning scenery for wedding photos! This place was bigger than we expected and definitely exceeded our expectations! There were plenty of beds for wedding guests to comfortably stay, and the number of bathrooms was outstanding! The kitchen was very well stocked, and we greatly appreciated there being two refrigerators. The layout worked perfectly for our needs, and we are so grateful we found this location for our special day. We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful property! We hope to one day make this trip a family tradition to share this special place with our future children.

Perfect space for a gathering
