Sorry we was not at the hotel We had to shut the doors this night due to unforeseen circumstances. Being a veteran owned mom and pop hotel this does happen from time to time. We are again sorry that this happened to you but there was underlying life problems that interfered in our business. I really wish you was able to see the inside of the room because that is where we have put most of our renovation money the past few years. Have a great day.

This is a small hotel that is run by a retire veteran and his wife. You didn't get charged anything. I told you that on the phone when I talked to you. As per what is on Expedia's website I have published our hours of operation 6:00 AM to 1100 Pm Sunday -Thursday and 6:00 AM to 12:00 PM Friday and Saturday. I am sorry that you didn't understand. There is nothing terrible about having hours of operations.The customers that stay here like it that they know that they won't get woken up by someone checking and bring bags in from there car at 2:00 am in the morning. It also states on the Expedia website that if you need to check in after closing time to call us so that we can make arrangements.

We are a value hotel that give someone a clean room with a hot breakfast for the lowest price in town. Everyone that stays with us contributes to us being able to upgrade more things for more rooms. The reason for the ok reviews is because of the value you get for the cost you pay. We are an older hotel. We are in the process of remolding and upgrading the rooms. Right now we have 4 rooms remodeled out of 45 rooms. It is going to be a long process because we are using revenue and not taking out loans. For the value of the room you get a hot home cooked breakfast. Biscuits and gravy, pancakes, hard boiled eggs, home style potatoes, sausage patties. You also get Fresh fruit, two choices of cold cereal, hot oatmeal, and yogurt. The coffee that we use is Dunkin Donuts coffee and also we have 2 types of breakfast juices. When you are a family of 4 you can spend $70.47 tax included and get a good night sleep and are able to feed 4 people the next morning. There is no better value in this town than that. You also get free wifi. We are improving this hotel every year and will continue to provide the best service that we are able to provide. I thank you for stay with us at the Budget Inn. This is a family owned business. I and my wife own the place and run the place. We are the only ones that are here to check in people. Our daughter was in a parade for home coming. We both wanted to see her in the parade and participate in something that our town was doing. As for nothing working, everything works in our hotel. As per the video cameras you arrived at 3:39 and couldn't wait 21 minutes. You left the property to arrive at 5 minutes till 4:00 pm. I am sorry you didn't have a good experience.

It was completely my mistake and I took complete responsibility for what happened to you. The side story of the customer that opened the door. The door was chain locked so the gentleman open the door about 3 inches. I as the owner called the police because when this happened the customer said I was lucky that she didn't have her gun. At that point I told her that she had to leave because I wanted to defuse the situation. She said she wasn't leaving and I was the one that called the police to have there help in removing her from the room. She refused to leave when the police came here. All in all she finally left. To this day I feel bad about the whole situation and still am sorry that you had to go through this at my hotel. As for creepy questions I asked her what brought her to Mexico in the first place the same question that I ask everyone.

Thank you for your review. I am sorry you had a bad experience at our hotel. We are working on fixing the problems that you had. We purchased the hotel a little over a year ago and are now in the position financially to start replacing items that are out dated. We had to replace old refrigerators, old microwaves, and old hair dryers before we where able to get to bedding. We just ordered our king bedding and will soon be changing it all. As the owner I am sorry you thought that I had horrible customer service, I will work on this personnel.
