Very pleasant stay
Really good spot at Miami Beach. Almost everything on a walking distance. Sir at the reception really nice calm and helpful. For us a good stay for a reasonable price. Don’t expect luxury but a good room to sleep.

Etwas altmodischer Charme dem Art Deco Gebäude entsprechend, aber sauber und ruhig. Gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, hervorragende Lage im Art Deco Viertel am Ocean Drive; man ist in wenigen Schritten am Strand.

There was a strong odor. At first I thought it was chlorine but they have no pool. I realized it was likely mildew. It was clean but aged. Very simple ambiance. Expensive restaurant with very subpar food. Price was reasonable so slightly disappointed but for the price, I don't expect the Ritz.

My stay was good. The building is kind of run down. The floor is slanted causing the beds to be slanted. Head slanted down and feet slanted up. I have them a 4 syat because the gentleman working that morning was very nice. We were able to check in at 11am with no problems.the gentleman working 2nd shift was also nice.

Excellent location. Close to beach and steps away from several restaurants. Did not care for our queen size bed that was on a platform. Had to be careful not to stub our toes. I would stay here again as I felt we got a good value.

Pros: Very close to the beach, and walkable to everything. The Studio room we stayed in had a proper kitchen with a large fridge, stove, kettle etc. Cons: We stayed in the Studio which was a separate building and a walk-up to the third floor - for me this was fine, but this wasn't mentioned in the original booking. Additionally our room definitely had a mold infestation - we were only there for 3 nights, and barely in the room, but I definitely would have complained if it was a longer stay. You get what you pay for with this one...

The Hotel was in a great location, within a 2 minute walk you were at the beach, had restaurants, bars and clubs! You were able to get in and out of the hotel during the night. The hotel has a parking lot right next to it, which you have to pay for. The hotel room itself was clean. It had free soap, shower gel, towels, a TV, a mirror and a functioning air conditioner! It had all you need I’d say. The hotel had a restaurant downstairs which was very convenient. Although I have to say I saw mice in the kitchen restaurant which I told them about and they said they got rid of them the same morning. I never saw mice again. You could also rent Beach Towels for a day for free! All in all I’d say it was a good hotel when you’re on a budget and don’t want to spent too much money.

The property was in the perfect location! Very walkable, very close to everything yet very quiet. A hidden gem. The restaurant had delicious food and the service was spectacular. Offered very early check in after arriving on an early flight. Very hospitable staff. The room was comfortable and just what we needed. Would gladly stay here again.

I loved the old style hotel, right out of the 50s! Loved being right across from the ocean although I couldn’t see it. I loved the ‘people watching’ along the avenue and eating right on the sidewalk. We loved Ocean Five Hotel, the location was perfect! It's walking distance from dining and shopping and the beach is right across the street. We loved the room and the kitchen, and the price was so right!! Definitely got a lot of bang for the buck. The hotel staff, I believe spelled Josue, greeted us with kindness and tons of information. He was probably one of the nicest people we met on this trip. Josue made us feel so welcomed. Ocean Five Hotel will be our go to place when visiting Miami from now on.

The pictures are very deceiving. The floor is old cracked up marble. The faucet was dirty. We didn’t even sleep under the covers. They also fail to mention on the Expedia app that they hold $50 on your card when you check in as a security deposit

this hotel maybe not very new, doesn’t have mini fridge and microwave in room. however, it’s clean and everything seem fine. we had a room behind the restaurant, we can eat at the restaurant immediately if we are hungry. parking is extra, $30 per hotel day right next to hotel. however, the staff r nice enough to let us park additional time after check out. the beach is at walkable distance, i would stay again if i am visiting miami beach again
