We are new to Vrbo but not new to hosting, we are experienced hosts without the title.
Located in the heart of Michigan City, Indiana, on a seldom traveled street, this home offers you the best of both worlds. Your 3.5 miles from the beaches of Lake Michigan, 3 miles from Lighthouse Outlet Mall, 10 miles from Indiana Dunes National Park, 20 minutes to New Buffalo Michigan. This home is tucked away on a side road in a safe neighborhood where you can take your dog for a walk or let your kids ride their bikes. The home features 3 nice sized bedrooms and 2 full baths on the main level. The Laundry area is located in the basement of the property. Please no more then 8 adults allowed in property during your stay at anytime. Entire home is focused on the upstairs of the residence and the laundry area in the basement.
This home is located in a neighborhood with children, we must insist that guests respect the environment of the property.
If what your looking for in a vacation rental is a place where your young children or teenagers are safe to explore the neighborhood, take your pet for a walk, play in the back yard, ext, while still allowing for adult quality time this property is for you!
If you’re looking for a property to have loud gatherings or a party like environment that lasts till the wee hours of the morning, this is not the correct property to book. There is free parking in the driveway ( 2 automobiles fit easily), in the garage (single car ) and in the front of the home (off street)
We welcome responsible pet parents, the back yard is fenced in, and has a nice deck for you to sit on while your pet gets some exercise in the yard. We furnish pet toys, a leash, pet bed, and treats for your pet.

Girl's Weekend

Great little house with EVERYTHING you could possibly need. Great room sizes and huge TVs in every one. We went in the winter/spring so didn't use the back yard, but we had a dog that enjoyed it. We would recommend!

Excellent stay

We had an amazing Christmas stay in this charming house. It had everything we needed. I was able to do some little decorations to make it feel like Christmas. We had our adult children and in-laws over for dinner and everything was perfect. We will defiantly us this host in our future stays. We have 2 dogs (60 and 65 lbs) and they loved the house and the fenced in back yard. The host has sheet covered beds for them to use and has sheets out for us to use if they wanted to lay with us. There were even dog treats, Thank you to the host we had a great Christmas!

Excellent stay - everything as described

Excellent stay. Had to book last minute and host was super responsive and accommodating. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a house that is pet friendly with a yard. Neighborhood is fine, and the street that the house sits on is quiet and peaceful. I felt very safe during my stay.

Exceptional VRBO !!

Wow, This place is a great little secret. They go over and beyond for their guests. All the little amenities that they include in their nice homey atmosphere of a getaway. I have never felt more relaxed at a VRBO than I did at this one. Very comfy and secure.

Quiet Get Away without breaking the bank!

We had a really nice time and it was wonderful to have our whole family, including our pets! The root beer float treat was such a nice surprise. The house had everything including condiments for our bratwurst meal! All we needed to bring was food to cook and clothes to wear. The beds are super comfortable-Thank you for not skimping on the sheets!

We loved this house and location. The host was great and provided everything we needed and more. The location of the house is wonderful we were close to pretty much everything while being in a nice quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed the fenced in backyard and sitting on the back deck. Our extended family enjoyed the stay in Christy’s rental. Great Location, close to stores, restaurants, activities and the beach. The house was so well stocked that all one needs is their clothes! The beds were very comfortable as well as the living room furniture. Kitchen items (Ninja) were over the top and so were the TV’s and internet service. Host Christy very pleasant and most accommodating. The surprise “goody” (root beer floats) was most appreciated! Thank you Christy! We would definitely stay there again!

quiet relaxing environment

The neighborhood is serene and have thoughtful neighbors to the back. The home is well kept and has many gadgets from the NInja coffee maker to the NInja grill to mention a few. It was a treat to use... it was delightful to see as we are frequent VRBO people and usually find the basics. Our host did an excellent job of blending hotel amenities with home style options! We enjoyed our stay and the dachshunds enjoyed the back yard tremendously!! This home is in a quiet neighborhood that is close to everything! Nearby is Sophia's restaurant for breakfast that I have to say is a must go to! And only couple miles away... thanks for a great get away

Clean and comfortable

This house was clean and comfortable. We had absolutely no issues and were comfortable for our stay. The beds were comfortable and we had plenty of towels and blankets. The house has enough cookware to make a nice meal, a nice coffee bar and plenty of essentials. The bathrooms were fully stocked with everything we needed. It was a close drive to the Indiana Dunes National Park and is a place we would return to!

Spacious house for a one-person stay. The house had all the toiletries, kitchen necessities you'd be looking for, and more! With remote working, I booked this place in hopes of working from there on one day of the stay. There were known intermediate WIFI outages in the area. Unfortunately, I was not notified of this and had experienced issues with working for more than half of my work day.

Very accommodating host

We had a quick trip and wanted to have a separate room for our toddler. We loved the toys for kids and plenty of space to run around. The host was great with communication and there were a lot of thoughtful “extras” provided like toothbrushes, soap and milk which we appreciated.

If your thinking about it, just book it!

Really happy with the place! Met all of our needs and you could really tell the owner cared. Just the little touches like toothbrushes in case someone forgot and other small details, really showed great hospitality. Beds were comfy and great location/neighborhood. Would definitely book again!
