Escape to Michiana--Entire home in Michigan City!

This cozy, modern, newly built home is tucked in the woods, only a mile to Lake Michigan. Enjoy relaxing and spending time together in the open floor plan while taking in the beautiful views of trees and nature. The home also offers plenty of individual spaces to spend quiet time alone reading or unwinding. Want to hit the sites--there are wineries, breweries, restaurants, hiking spots, and beautiful places to see magnificent sunsets over Lake Michigan all within a walk or drive.

Only a 45-60 min. drive from Chicago, and 15-30 minutes to countless Harbor Country attractions. This is the perfect getaway for creatives, remote workers, friend groups, or couples (sorry but we cannot accommodate large parties). A short drive takes you to Washington Park and Zoo, outlet shopping, restaurants, casinos, wineries, and breweries. Catch a Notre Dame football game just 40 minutes away.

This brand new, 3 bedroom, 2 bath home has everything you need to feel at home. The main level is open allowing guests to be together at the island while cooking, relaxing in the living room and playing board games, eating at the dining table, or binging a show (feel free to login to your favorite streaming accounts on either of the smart tv's!). There is a fully stocked kitchen, French press, Kuerig coffee maker, washer/dryer, electric grill on the screened porch, outdoor furniture and more. Upstairs has a separate sitting room with electric fireplace and smart tv. The radiant floor heating and split heating/air-conditioning units in each room ensure the temperature is right for everyone year round.

BEDROOMS/SLEEPING:
All beds have new luxury mattresses and cozy bedding for your comfort. There is a bedroom on the main floor with a king bed and access to shared bathroom. Upstairs there are two bedrooms—one with another king bed and the other with a bunkbed—with a full bed on the bottom and twin bed on top.

BATHROOMS:
Both bathrooms have luxurious waterfall shower heads and the upstairs bedroom also has a large soaker tub. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and hair dryers are provided for your convenience.

We love our neighbors and respect everyone's need for quiet. Quiet time begins at 11pm.

There are railroad tracks that run front of the house and an Amtrak that passes a few times a day. These pass-throughs are brief and have fairly minimal noise given the nearby tree cover.

There is a hardwood, open slat staircase joining the first and second floors and also cleaning supplies under the kitchen sink, please make sure to supervise small children at all times.

Our landscaping is primarily natural materials (mulch and gravel) which unfortunately makes it difficult for someone in a wheelchair, that said, please reach out and if there is something we can do to help accommodate, we will do our best!

No Smoking: This is a non-smoking home. Please do not smoke inside the home or on the patio areas. If you smoke outside, please dispose of all butts in the appropriate way.

There are two public beaches in New Buffalo and Bridgman as well as several in the Michigan City.
