'We enjoyed a lovely time at the Metropole hotel in Llandrindod Wells. Our room was quiet, clean and spacious. Staff were helpful and friendly. We had a swim in the Spa pool which was a wonderful experience. We ate in the Brasserie and enjoyed delicious food and service. Breakfast was also delicious and had a good selection of hot and cold food. I would definitely recommend a stay.'

'Very central in Machynlleth. Large private car park. The building is quite quirky, parts have been updated but others are in need of attention. Some staff very nice but others rather offhand. Comfy bed. '
