'Wonderful stay at Pale Hall Hotel. Beautiful and comfortable room. Warm and welcoming staff. Excellent dining options - a tasting menu / fine dining or a bar menu. Both served in a beautiful dining room. We had the bar menu and it was wonderfully cooked. Morning breakfast was perfect and a small gift of water and cookies for our journey much appreciated. We would highly recommend this hotel. '

'Well portioned for easy access to all travel and walking. Stunning views of surrounding mountains. However the village seemed abit run down and dinning opportunities limited. We would suggest the Royal Sportsman hotel for dinning. As we have visited it before and the food and service was excellent. '

'Lovely cosy two room b&b with very welcoming and friendly hosts. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with everything you need for your stay whether it be short or long. The breakfasts are exceptional, a full English or amazing home made fluffy pancakes just two of the choices. If we go to any of the surrounding areas in the future, Toms of Tregaron will be the first place we contact in the hope of securing a room.'

'Warm, friendly welcome by the owner. As it turned out, we were the only visitors staying in the hotel, so had a nice opportunity for a chat over a beer - well stocked with what appeared to be the full range of bottled beers from Purple Moose Brewery of Porthmadog. Food was fantastic - both of us had the lamb which was stunning. Lots of it & full of flavour. The accompanying vegetables were equally full of taste. Everything was provided, from ecofriendly shampoo and bodywash to pristine robes and towels, a lovely coffee machine, fresh mik with the tea facilities and an excellent guide to the house, its facilities and local walks.
