"The staff knows how to welcome the guests. All of the staff is always available to give you the best possible experience. From the first moment we arrived, the hosts managed our luggage along the stairs and a senior looking and undoubtedly cigar loving man, processed us most efficiently through the reception whilst giving us a comprehensive update on the must visits and best places to have lunch and dinner. We felt immediately welcome. An the young multilingual and always kind brunette at the counter booked our perfect spot in what must be the most romantic restaurant on the Island, Il Geranio, overseeing the gardens of Emp. Augustus and the beautiful bay. We enjoyed our stay in a great room, nicely sized and perfectly maintained by an always smiling and very available housekeeping team. The breakfast service was above average but simple at the same time. A nice variety of cereals, pastries, and of course the incontournable mozzarella cheese, veggies and plenty of fresh seasonal fruit made it perfect for me. We spent in between our walks and visits quite some moments enjoying the swimming pool. Our host at the pool, Chris, made us being annual guests. In short, a great ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ experience. "Het hotel is sinds zijn eerste seizoen terug geopend en volledig vernieuwd. Echter lag het minder in lijn met onze verwachtingen. Te veel kamers en te beperkte ligbedden die je moest reserveren met handdoeken, de faciliteiten gym en spa waren ook zeer klein en tevens werkte in de beperkte spa de steamroom niet voor de 2 dagen dat we er waren. Je hebt recht op beperkte bezoeken aan de restaurants en de reservatie ervan was op dag 1 al onmogelijk, gelukkig heeft een medewerker dat kunnen doen voor ons. De bediening in de restaurants die tevens ver van volboekt waren was niet optimaal en in de kamers werden de koffie thee en tissues niet bij gevuld, we hebben hier meerdere keren voor moeten bellen. De vooringang ziet er ook slordig uit, de gasten en facilitaire diensten moeten allemaal door hetzelfde pad, niet echt wat je als gast wil zien. Bediening aan de bars was wel zeer goed."
