'Goede locatie! Kamers werden altijd proper gepoetst. Keuken had alles wat nodig was. Douchekop en deur zijn wel dringend aan vervanging toe. Meerdere soorten kussens zou beter zijn. Zwembad en ligstoelen hebben hun beste tijd al gehad maar zijn zeker nog doenbaar. Parkeergarage onder het hotel is top, let wel op bij het in- en uitrijden voor schade aan de auto. Ik zou terugkomen.'

'There were lots of pool tiles inside the pool that were either missing or loose both on the floor of the pool and surrounding the inside of the pool. The larger tiles were also extremely dirty and it felt like the pool could need a really good clean, although the water did appear to be clean and was a lovely tepid temperature '

'Hotel Rio Malecon is a great hotel! Friendly staff and an excellent restaurant, Coexist Bistro (Italian/Mexican). The property itself is a little dated but the rooms are very clean, the beds are comfy and the air conditioning works great! There is a unique pool and lounge area in the courtyard too! You can't beat the location right on the malecon with tons to do and see all within walking distance. See you soon!'

'Comfortable & nice hotel. Not the fanciest hotel in town but good value for the price. Breakfast was very good and different everyday. The restaurant also serves delicious meals! Some small items for improvement; the chairs in the lounge area were not good; you’d fall right through the chair because the straps underneath the chair was missing.
