'Some challanges to find the location, but it was re-designed and looked very well. on monday the kitchen is closed which is a point because in the villages isn't much to eat. Eating is maybe not the strongest point, the continental breakfast was underneath the quality we suspected. I don't know which continent they are refering to but it looked Africa. '

'This was our second trip to the lion at Belpur, and though we couldn’t have the bigger room this time, the room we had was still adequate for what we wanted. Always good friendly staff, who are more than willing to help. The pub is located in a good area, close to shops and high street, and the mills and gardens. Fantastic time which is why we returned. '

'Lea Hurst is a fantastic place to stay , Quiet and secluded. The house is beautifully restored and the room was superb good views over the countryside,, Jen was a superb host and made us feel welcome in her home. Excellent breakfast and the canal path only 5 minutes walk through the garden. Good location for visiting all of the Peak District. Would highly recommend and can’t wait to return '

'Kamers zijn redelijk gedateerd, bedden slecht en klein. Hotel heeft veel faciliteiten maar is erg rumoerig als er veel congressen zijn. Ontbijt prima, personeel vriendelijk. '

I have been in many hotels but never was welcomed at breakfast this way: table assigned to keep the privacy, explanation on breakfast. Loved it. Breakfast: fresh fruits, warm meal, danish, yoghurt, all you need. And good coffee!'

'I rarely take the opportunity to record my stays but this deserves the time. The communication in advance was clear and very helpful. However, the location after a business day is ideal and so many personal touches, including a welcome label on the door personal to you! Everything self contained and so comfortable, wanted to take the large mattress home! Iron 4 poster bed, kitchenette with coffee maker and milder frother for cappuccino! 'Beautiful property in a stunning location '

'Very good for a budget hotel. Clean tidy friendly helpful staff. Bed a little on firm side Only complaint was only two towels supplied for a three person stay, but soon rectified. Plus the main light in the bathroom didn't work, luckily the mirror light was good.'

'Facilities in hotel and room as expected for a hotel. Has a somewhat tired look about the building dreaming of former glory. For some of the staff they gave the impression thast they were in employment but not within the hotel trade.'
