'Beautiful part of the state, the simplicity of the accommodation blended with the beautiful countryside. The sauna was a treat, and food at Maydena Eats was delicious. WiFi instructions were wrong (maybe outdated?) and shower floors and bedroom corners had been overlooked— fixable things. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.'

'We really loved the stay in Highlander Cottages. There are more cottages at this site, but it felt like we were staying alone in the forest. Although wooden constructions the quality was high, a kitchen block, small living room, dining table, comfortable beds fireplace and modern bath room. We would definitely return. '

'Room was very hot and stuffy. The window was broken so no fresh air. After insisting that something be done, the staff were able to prop the window open with a book. Basically it’s not as cute as the photos. It was a good price, but next time I think I’d rather pay more for a better standard. Good in restaurant was also very ordinary.'
