'Fantantische lodge, ideaal gelegen om de cradle mountains te verkennen. De kamers zijn groot, verzorgd en mooi ingericht. Gezellige setting. Zeer goed restaurant, fantastische ontbijt en goede service! Er liggen een aantal mooie wandel tracks net achter de lodge. '

'Everything was fantastic, 10 out of 10. The Shalet was spotless, it had a lovely wood fire and an electric heater. The rooms were all done in wood panelling, there was kitchen and laundry facilities and the spa bath was a lovely extra touch. Despite the rainy weather, we were very cosy and warm.'

'Basic things that were neglected or done poorly 1) no pre check in email was received resulting in us being stuck outside the property as we were not informed of the access code to gain entry into the property. Imagine being caught in a situation when you had 4 cars backed up behind you and you couldn’t get in - enough said 2) no air conditioning in the rooms and the windows can’t be open. Rooms are hot, stuffy and poorly ventilated- would have been helpful to have that piece on information on...

'Our room had a good design with bathroom adjoined by a wardrobe area with a luggage rack big enough for two suitcases. Large, comfortable bed, sitting chairs & desk. Loved the rainfall showerhead. Window view of street and church across the road. Could walk to many pubs & restaurants. Parking is outdoor and right next to the hotel. Great for a couple. '
